Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls
Seems to be a fair few announcements going on elsewhere at the moment so hoping for some more news of our own soon even if it is contract extensions and a replacement for Genge. I wonder if it was SB or someone else who pulled the rug on the popcorn days if they saw them as over-frivolous. I enjoyed...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls
A lot of what SB says is about balance and flexibility in the squad. Whilst there will always be specialist players and positions, he likes players who can cover multiple positions if needed. Likewise, he likes a mixture of experience and youth. I’d love Marler here, but I don’t see it personally. W...

Re: Formerly of this parish
Guy Thompson graduates from De Mont. Copied from Instagram: What a special weekend this was. Finally graduated with my MBA from De Montfort University and having my mum and @em_on_walkabout there made it so special. Juggling this alongside professional rugby, 2 relocations and other commitments mean...

Re: Leicester v Bordeaux (H) - 22nd January 2022 - 15:15
Well looks like my guessing has improved - got 16 out of the 23 right this time (up from 14). 17 I think,it is a lottery though! I’d hazard a guess no one has hit 23 all season 😂 We could have a league table of regular pundits (guessers). Would be interesting over the course of several games and ce...

Re: CONNACHT (A) - Saturday 15th January 2022 - 3-15pm
Good for Wiese to get a good run out and he deserved Star Player award or whatever it was called. He seemed genuinely contrite and emotional about missing the last two games in the post match interview. I genuinely hope he can keep out of the Sir’s notebook for the rest of the season. Also good for ...

Re: McGinity Article on Rugbypass
Interesting read here on the trials and tribulations of McGinity, pandemic and the current squad. Interesting to note JVP and Freddie are on 4 year deals too... https://www.rugbypass.com/news/he-nailed-vermeulen-and-steve-rang-going-we-have-got-our-man-jan-mcginity-leicester/ Thanks for this - inte...

Just watched the post match interviews on YouTube. What a thoroughly decent and humble chap Saumaki seems to be. Delighted for him to be the hero on such a dreadful day for Tonga

Re: CONNACHT (A) - Saturday 15th January 2022 - 3-15pm
Whether we win, lose or draw something has to be done about the stupid penalties being given away. Doesn’t matter if the ref is spot on with his decisions every time.

A few bright sparks for us but overall we don’t deserve to win this.

Re: CONNACHT (A) - Saturday 15th January 2022 - 3-15pm
Just annoying to hear Deacon say that it is indiscipline that is costing us - well what is new? Been like that for a while and not being addressed. Not all pens are created by opposition pressure - many are self inflicted yet still being used as the reason.

Re: CONNACHT (A) - Saturday 15th January 2022 - 3-15pm
Well if anyone from the coaching staff says we lost because of disciplinary issues, they need to look at what they have said in recent matches because it is the same old same old and isn’t being addressed. Sometimes pens are caused by opposition pressure but not many of those today - mainly self inf...
