Re: Will we finish in the top 4?

Can see Quins playing loose and free if their season is done by the final game - unfortunately that probably suits them so that could be a tough game if it’s a freebie for them

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 - Prisoner of Oadby Pre-Season

We must be close to a popcorn day with squad announcements surely? Seems later than usual this season but maybe I’m just impatient!

Re: 6 Nations 2023

It’s a collision sport - you can’t prevent every head contact and not every head contact is a red card, there is such a thing as an accident. It was a Rugby incident, move on IMO even though it’s unfortunate for Keenan he’s got injured. Reminded me of the Porter red last season at clermont I think? ...

Re: Will we finish in the top 4?

We have a maximum of 15 points available; Irish, Chiefs, Brizz, Glaws all have 4 fixtures left. It's going to be tight. Irish only have 3 left. True, apologies. I think Irish could be our biggest threat given their points difference. Irish are away to Sarries so that won’t be easy once Sarries get ...

Re: Other games - 10th to 12th March 2023

Bristol back t the form that saw them top the league two seasons ago. They have Genge and Sinkler to come back so could push for top 4. Every amen is knock out rugby now. I dunno - they beat a Saints 3rd team and a Quins team on the slide and shorn of their best players too. Not saying it will be e...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 - Prisoner of Oadby Pre-Season

I’d argue that Reffell is our best player - key to linking defence and attack as all good 7s should but he does everything better than most.

Him & Ilione are real openside stars in the making for Tigers

Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list

Good post ,hard to argue with any of that but this is very worrying reading this post which I've copy and pasted "Very pleased to read that he has cost us absolutely nothing to get him released from his Aussie contract according to WA today - "RA’s focus appears now to be making sure it d...

Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list

Good to see you! What’s your thoughts on the new head coach? Thanks Scott, time will tell most folks seems ecstatic over this appointment. For me I feel like we have been at this juncture before when we signed Borthwick. For me the club have decided the key selection criteria was to sign someone ve...

I’d still pick JD2 ,unless he retired himself from international rugby. Not sure
He’s 34 so past his prime - not certain he’s retired but it would be a case of looking back not forward if he was brought back in IMO
True, still a great player in his day though
100% - what a player

Re: 6 Nations 2023

I get the impression Gatland is trying to work out who might be good enough and how he gets 15 players to play a coherent style of rugby so it’s a bit suck it and see for the moment. He certainly doesn’t have the quality of players he had at his disposal to play WarrenBall - no big crash ball centr...

Re: 6 Nations 2023

Well I think it’ll be a better team with Owen Williams than with Biggar, who must be just about the Most overrated fly half ever. This season however he has surpassed himself in how poor he has been, and his behaviour to younger players who one assumes look up to him was nothing short of disgracefu...
