Re: Worcester @ Home - 05th February 2022

Just watched the highlights couple of superb pieces of skill for Burns and Reffell trys. Absolute Brain fart from Burns for the intercept try, hopefully he wouldn’t do that in a closer game but who knows. Just a comment on the pitch, hybrid as we all know not artificial, but given all the rain we h...

Re: Tigers vs Saints - Fri 11 Feb 22 at 1945

I wanna see Saumaki,Nadolo,Muri at some point. If Weise is out we have to add some carrying in the backs Not a back three to kick aimlessly to. I'd imagine Chessum will be back in next week as Lawes is supposed to be ok for selection and Hill has an outside chance. He'd add some carrying to the pac...

Re: Worcester @ Home - 05th February 2022

Just watching the highlights and although probably not deliberate I am disappointed in the commentator labelling Saumaki as “the one man Tongan tidal wave” Poor taste based on recent history. Heard that too and thought what a terrible choice of words! Difficult isn’t it I’m sure no disrespect was m...

Re: Under the radar players of the season...

Would go with all the above. During the Sale commentary Healey picked out Potter and Porter as 2 signings that went under the radar of other premiership clubs, and for me Potter is really starting to blossom in that 13 channel.
The other one for me is Whitcombe who is just improving every game

Re: GP / Six Nations plus others - w/e 04-06th February 2022

Cowan-dickie was in a position to try and play the ball legitimately and this a penalty try should not have been an option. Had he failed to catch it, or lost it backwards, could it be certain a try would not have occurred? No. Thus no penalty try. The penalty had to be awarded. Jones should have b...

Re: Tigers vs Saints - Fri 11 Feb 22 at 1945

Match is Live on BT Sport 1. Not really worth trying to guess the team as Borthwick always surprises us and we have no idea who is available.. but I'm going to try anyway! I'm guessing Wiese might have picked up a neck injury having gone off at HT today. No idea sadly about MvS or Moroni so here go...

Re: Tigers vs Saints - Fri 11 Feb 22 at 1945

The one thing that these 2 international periods have made clear, is what an integral part of the side Steward has become in such a short time. He is sorely missed when absent not just for his high ball ability, but his play as that pendulum at the back

Re: Worcester @ Home - 05th February 2022

Wiese did not look good going back to the dugouts....appeared to have a stiff neck Actually he didn't come out after half time, Reffell had replaced him, and as a poster said earlier he has been reading the forum with his carrying and passing today. Good to hear he is adding that to his game. If Wi...

Re: Worcester @ Home - 05th February 2022

Burns cannot stay on script, to many big players absent. Poor handling, some pathetic attempts at tackling and poor ball retention. Deserved the 5 points but butchered to many opportunities. To beat Saints we will need a massive improvement and the absentees to return. I wasn’t there so can’t comme...

Yes and no Finn Russell has been superb last 15 minutes, too many English penalties at the end
