1. Don’t mind the new strips
2. New logo thing is utterly utterly dreadful marketing gone wrong.
You do realise the new logo will only be used on certain leisure wear, it’s not replacing anything.

It is a dreadful piece of design!

Re: New Kit

At a supporters forum meeting a few seasons ago, a new sponsor was teased, and when someone mentioned Topps Tiles as a possibility, they were more than laughed, they were jeered out of court. The actual new sponsor was Caterpillar.

Topps Tiles!!!

How are the mighty fallen.

May I say a big thank you to all of the players who have signed new deals and extended current deals and bought into the vision that the club are trying to build. Re: Interviews - LTTV by Bondi

One of the main objectives of an interviewer is to help the interviewee answer the questions. It’s not about being Jeremy Paxman. Bondi’s style did nothing to help Andrea give clear answers. Borthwick was far more prepared and gave direct answers because he has been given training on how to face and...

Interviews - LTTV by Bondi

Steve Borthwick had some very interesting and informative things to say in his Tigers’ interview, but it was so difficult to watch! The constant editing of camera angles at inappropriate moments and the chaotic approach of the interviewer smack of a very amateur production, but perhaps not quite as ...

Re: Players asked to take pay cuts!

The Telegraph, Friday afternoon: “ A weekend of last-minute deliberations may yet see Manu Tuilagi remain a Leicester Tigers player. The Daily Telegraph understands that there has been a ‘change of heart’ amongst those involved in the discussions and there is some hope that the next 48 hours may see...

Re: Players asked to take pay cuts!

Andrea Pinchen May have kept some people happy with her interview, the legal representatives of Manu amongst them. By naming the players who had not accepted the revised remuneration packages, she may have breached confidentiality clauses. This could be very expensive for the club who may be ordere...

Re: Potential lockdown in Leicester

If it happens, and Mike Hancock has been widely trailing it, its a fair guess that it will be subject to a review after three weeks, as have other COVID restrictions. No training for three weeks? That’s the end of a mid August start for Tigers season. Would this affect other clubs European expectati...

Salary Cap changes

From The Telegraph: Premiership clubs have unanimously agreed to slash temporarily the salary cap to £5 million for the 2021-22 season in a bid to avert financial oblivion. The number of marquee players, whose salary is not counted towards the salary cap, will also be reduced from two to one for the...

In The Times:

Burgess sounds bitter, but Mike Ford doesn’t come out of it well, and Lancaster didn’t manage the issues.
