Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Like the majority I was not too chuffed with last night's performance. I left with 2 key points; 1- Glos looked/were sharper, and 2- Oh those missed kicks! The only pos was 2 league points (4 tries & within 7). Saints beaten, Quins are being thumped; we are not alone in a crowded small league. ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Many excited by our new signings. We have signed a South African Under20's player to add to our home produced English and Welsh Under 20's who are not getting much game time. We have gone to a poor Ospreys team for a prop not selected for the Wooden Spoon winning Welsh side and we have gone to the ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

It was Ben White or JVP in all reality fighting for Ben Youngs back up. No way White would've played 3rd choice behind JVP or Youngs. Whereas Wigglesworth was just wanting a playing contract not a coaching one that Sarries was offering. The Idea that Wigglesworth was the one who pushed White out IM...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm

Evening all.. well.. I’m speechless! I honestly can’t believe what I have just watched.. unbelievable.. We deserved to win that, no doubt about it. I’ve never seen 2 penalties get yellow cards like that without even a warning.. then the maul gets brought down 2m out at the other end and it is just ...

The one to count is the prem match.
I dont know how you can say that, we are in a Final and had a 50/50 chance to win a trophy. Premier lose a match and we could end up with nothing. :smt017

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Does anyone know if the boy playing tomorrow including Tommy are available next Friday, with just the 6 day turn around. As realistically if no will the forwards be much different next week with just the addition of Montoya and weise. My feeling about Tommie today was that he had a quieter game tha...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

the worst thing about this for me is it sends a terrible message to the players about Steve as a coach. You can be one of the teams best players consistently for a number of years including in the current 6 nations and just because Steve wants to signal a change of intent you get made a scapegoat i...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

Certainly think that an opportunity has been missed to bridge the gap with some news about either new signings or player retention, though there must be reasons for this. As for the PRC final I wonder if it had to be planned for a break in the championship season too as their clubs were included Sc...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

I think this is an issue in that England do not have any matches that would be classed as 'friendlies'. We are expected to go out and win and so, right or wrong, developing fully in the 6 nations and finishing last is what costs people their job even if there is a bigger plan. Agreed, its a Catch 2...
