Re: Haskell / Marler

Marker attacked Haskells head. Penalty. Haskell over reacts to being squirted with water. Both should be sin binned, Marler for the original offence, Haskell for his reaction. Surprised we haven't heard from the citing commissioner as no action was taken against Marler

Re: Eleventh in the Premiership...and rising!

Last season Chiefs won only two of their first seven fixtures and still finished as champions. I know we can't afford to lose more than six games to make the playoffs, but the Premiership isn't won in September. Keep the faith

Re: Injury Curse Strikes yet again

Could it be Thompstones neck problem? MOC said he was 4 weeks away from returning I saw Adam at Sundays game and asked him how his neck was. He said he was seeing the specialist the next day and it could be six weeks. He did say it could also have been a lot more serious. Hope we get him back a.s.a...

Pharmacist: Yes.

Customer: Can you get it over the counter?

Re: Tigers vs Ospreys teams

Haven't been able to get to the last two pre-season games. Believe Crofty captained us in Wales, not sure who was captain last week and no-one indicated as captain for tonight unless I've missed something. Any ideas who will be captain when the season proper begins?

Details from BBC website.

Appears the squad went out for dinner, then back to the hotel, then Manu and Solomona went out again til 4am in contravention of curfew.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2017/18 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread!

Said it before and I'll say it again. This is a function of having three coaches in one season. Players whose contracts end in the summer can start negotiating with others on 1st Jan. On the 2nd Jan we sacked our DOR, then had another coach who won us the Anglo Welsh and latterly MOC, but while othe...

Re: Pietersen leaves

This is what comes of having three coaches in a season! Recruitment starts in January and we're now looking to see who is available when most teams squads have been sorted for months. An entirely foreseeable mess!

Two old blokes were sat in a pub enjoying a pint. It was a warm day and the pub doors were open and a funeral cortege passed by. At that one of the old blokes got to his feet, took off his cap and lowered his head until it had passed. When he sat back down his mate said "That was a nice touch&q...

It will be an interesting measure of whether we have improved if we can do better in next season's Champions Cup against Munster and Racing!

Fair point. I guess I would put Tuilagi at 12 and one of Tait, Matt Smith or Catchpole at 13.

Re: New Signings !!!! I am totally under whelmed

I think the lack of big signings and the number of players re-signed indicates how good the hierarchy at Tigers think the current squad is and I tend to agree with them providing we can keep them fit. The only caveat is fly half where I'm not convinced Joe is enough while George is away with England...
