Re: Harry Thacker to Gloucester

I don't want to be negative, but I think he has reached his potential. He isn't going to grow anymore and were it not for the unavailability of Evans and McCaffrey he would not have been the match day squad yesterday. Some say what a talent he has that X factor, and at times yes he does. Yesterday ...

Absolutely abysmal. Why even turn up if you are going to put this little effort in? Shameful.

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Season 2016/17

I don't get the opportunity to go to Welford Road as much as I used to anymore, but it always surprises me how bad the bar staff are every time I do - the last time being the Saracens game, where it appeared that the person who served us had literally just walked in off the street and was making it ...

Re: Tigers pitch is a disgrace

johnthegriff - given the list of current expenditure, I would not register astonishment if the Crumbie redevelopment was put on the back burner for a few years. I was speaking to Mr Cohen a couple of weeks ago and he told me the multi storey is the next project,. the Holland & Barratt is quite ...

Also I don't know if cropped up in the match day threads but Mike Williams was sat in the away supporters area as well, a couple of rows back from us :smt001

Re: Post your favourite quotes from Gloucester fans here!

To add a bit of balance, I was there on Saturday as well (admittedly in the peasant (read: away supporters) seats in the JS stand) and I didn't hear anything bad at all bar the expected frustration at losing a game in the dying seconds - and there must have only been a few rows of Tigers fans there,...

Re: Restrictions on access to catering outlets

Its quite sad that the team closest to me geographically (Gloucester) seem to do this so well - queue up briefly, get served pre-poured drinks almost instantly, pay, leave. Its really not hard, and its baffling that its so poor at Welford Road. Same goes for food, with sensible portions and prices. ...

Re: Clubhouse End redevelopment

Of course it was a decent payback. Thats why they are moving on with the next stage. And that was even with having to pay 9% on the bond they issued to raise the money. The hospitality in the Cat stand created around 1000 hospitality seats generating around an additional 150 - 200 pound per head pe...

Re: Sale game - Teams up!!

A bonus point would have been nice, but I'll take a solid win against a good team and some actual progression from game to game.
