Re: Tigers v Saints (A) - Premiership - Saturday 20th April 2024 - KO: 15-05
4 point game and we have the first 4 minutes or so of the second half a man down, plus Saints bench is stacked.. Smith and Freeman will be very very dangerous against tired legs It is ok, OHC has barely hit 75% yet today! He has reserves! Unfortunately, neither has he since the beginning of the sea...

To many dumb ass penalties giving Saints all their points. Steward and Shillcock both butchering golden try scoring opportunities. We must convert our chances it's become a habit to blow them

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
Even at 100K increases each that should count for 300K extra off. I struggle to see us just signing 3 players, I don't expect any more obvious starters for next season but depth wise centres will be bare bones. I don't see realistically how we could afford to buy out Simmonds and Marchant and if an...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
Think there’s excitement - with Kata, Perese, Kelly I’m struggling to think of another premiership club with a better set of centres. And we’re rumoured to be bringing in a fourth. But with all things it’s also counterbalanced by the fact that Wiese is going with no real like for like replacement. ...

Bath have certainly recruited very well and their squad is strong in depth. They continue to do so with the signing of Guy Pepper from Falcons and of course they have signed Van Wyk to.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
Agree that we cannot judge McKellar until next season at the earliest when he has got a full coaching staff and some of his own signings. He has inherited this squad and will no doubt have 3 or 4 players that he wants to bring in once current contracts have expired. I am somewhat bored with this ar...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
I agree - I’d be shocked to see 4 new signings yet to be announced. We were always rumoured to be bringing in 2 new centres. Given Porter and Scott leaving this is almost a certainty now. Other than that I’d hope we’d bring in another 8. Simmonds would be a great signing and maybe long term look to...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
I would be interested to know what posters are still unconvinced about re Mckellar. Often this season results/performances have been down to individual errors or not sticking to the game plan, which imo is down to the players. The coach can only do so much and then players have to hold their hands ...
