Re: Aviva final ***Wayne Barnes does not want to be rememb

Barnes had a great game and yet seems to get little credit .... Which is a great shame. I am a Leicester supporter ... Yes this is true, but the Laws tackles on Floody were fair .... Very hard but fair ... That's called good rugby in my book ... Re the drop out into touch ... The ref has no obligati...

Re: Sergio Parisse's ban is cut

Indeed Italy are 100 percent better with SP

England need lots of points to make sure that the welsh banana skin is covered

Re: Big Jim

Big Jim would be useful in Australia as we need some blatant enforcement. Teams always come at the Lions and you need to meet fire with fire with some big guys.

Re: England vs France + ref

England survived a strong French backlash for 60 mins and then comfortably pulled away as PSA imploded his team yet again.

England Bench was a strong as the French one was weak !

Re: Manu, TTE and Floody

No bad thing for Manu .... tbh I though he had put on a few Kgs and was not as lively as usual when he came on vs Ireland .. inevitable when returning from injury of course

Re: Teams up versus London Welsh (H)

Not sure Cockers would listen to anyone at HQ re Crofts reintroduction. I would think its 50% Croft himself and 50% Cockers not SL and his chaps ...

Croft had a very serious injury .. if it takes 6 weeks or more of care then so be it.

Re: Ireland vs England - is this the big one?

The theory goes that BB holds the defence together and helps Manu to not get to carried away or out of line .. therefore leaving out BB is a tricky one ... Mike Catt said as much in an interview I think. BUT .. I belive many / most people think that 36 and Manu is the killer combination overtime and...

Re: Ireland vs England - is this the big one?

Is it going to be the 6N decider? - Not necessarily .. I think IRE and ENG will lose possibly one match along the way Will the ref make all the difference? - No !! Will Hartley get the 2 shirt? - No ... last two games Youngs has been outstanding Will SL go back to Barritt and Manu? - No ... Manu on ...

Re: England v Scotland

its a good point Loretta .... Goode is for sure a class playmaker and I for one think that both Goode and Brown are the right styles and attitudes for the new SL formula. England are going in the right direction for the first time in close to 10 years IMHO. There will be stumbles ... Sunday vs the I...

England backs for Ireland next Sunday

9. Youngs .... With Care coming on after 60 if required 10. Farrell .... I am honest and eating humble pie about Farrell .. He was very very good yesterday 11. Brown ... Ok yesterday and I like his style and attitude ... Right for SLs vision 12. 36 ... Born to play international rugby ... Will get b...

Re: England v Scotland

- Engerlund were the better team - Hogg has thrown himself into talk of the Lions squad (fast isn't he?) - Rolland proved himself a nonsense of a ref - Ashton is still an utter t*** - I could punch Dylan Hartley for a fortnight and not get bored Replying to buffer as above .... (from English point o...

Re: Answer to Manu's 'L' gesture

Thats my feeling ... Cockers must know and be OK with it ... BUT Cockers, Stuart Lancaster et al are also being more than a little naive as many would interpret the L as LOSER which is an outrageous gesture to show when scoring against respected oposition. If they know its all OK and its e.g. his de...

Re: 2015 RWC draw today

As an Englishman.... I will take this draw.

If we can squueze past Wales and Aus in a tight group of death .. the by my analysis we get Scotland or Samoa in the QF3 then either France or Argies in SF2 followed by NZ in the Final .... :smt002

Re: 2015 RWC draw today

Group A ... quite possible to have Aus, Wales and Eng all win three matches .. therefore points etc will be key against Oceania 1 and playoff winners .... therefore need very solid wins in those matches .. could be tight !!
