Re: Transfers & Rumours Non Tigers 2016/17

Ross moriarty confirmed as leaving Gloucester at the end of the season, no mention of where he’s going but thought to be Welsh region.

Re: Tigers v Worcester

What happened to Mike Williams? A few seasons ago in my opinion he had the potential to be the best blindside in the premiership and had made the EPS. Would have been a cornerstone of the Tigers pack at 6. But this season he has got nowhere near the level we know he can play at. Carried loads again...

Re: Why no penalty try?

I’ve no doubt when he went for it he’s hope he can knock it up in the air and get to it, but he doesn’t and he prevented a clear try so it’s a yellow and a penalty try, the same as when veainu did it except he almost actually caught it after he knocked it up.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2!!

Burrell is 30 next month. There are younger more talented players around and I just don't think he's that good. He'd want first team wages as well where as the likes of Smith and Owen won't. I'd like to see us give our academy centres more of a shot before reaching for the cheque book again. Boyce ...

Re: Tigers v Worcester

Although I haven’t seen the games the commentary sound distinctly similar last year, joe ford seems to have been singled out a lot and I’m sure when he was signed as much as to appease George I’m sure it was thought that he’d have toomua out side him calling the shots and taking the pressure away. A...

Re: England v Samoa

I think positions within a team are far more interchangeable than they once were. Particularly the back 5 of the scrum. I think perhaps EJ is concerned that we may not have enough flankers at the required level come 2019, which is very possible, and is trying to be prepared by giving Itoje plenty o...

Re: England v Samoa

Some of this is fine for experimentation, but I do find strange that they persist with Itoje in the back row. He's a world class lock but at international level he's a makeshift back row. England may have quality locks in abundance but I'm not entirely convinced that shoehorning them into other pos...

Re: Tigers v Worcester

Like most on here upset from a tigers point of view but made up that genge is in the match day team, completely deserved he’s having and amazing season. I’m just wondering where’s he playing/covering as both mako and Marler have also been retained.

Re: Tigers v Worcester

Sky sports mention Te’o one of the 9 released back to there club, hopefully he was rehabbing with them, as I don’t fancy him running at our possible back line.

Ravai fatiaki

I have seen on the squad list is ravai fatiaki, who after looking him up is a 30 year old FIJI centre. Does anyone know when he signed as I hadn’t heard, is it short term and does anyone know what he’s like as a player I’ve never heard or seen anything of him.

Re: Tigers v Worcester

I go with a similar time to last week, think you’ve got to keep Harrison and j ford together they need game time together they’re going to be the partnership for the six nations even if George doesn’t start he’ll be in the squad, also bring back on tait adds the second distributor. And we need to fi...
I think Tigers could experiment with a centre combo of Thacker and Owen. Genge can come off the bench and so can Fitzgerald. Thacker not there yet Owen to start with either Tait or Smith
I thin...

Re: Genge, Lozowski and Kruis sent back to clubs!

Absolutely crazy decisions, I would say genge is now 1st choice better than mako in the scrum and better than marlar in every way, he is absolutely England’s future prop so should be getting 2 years experience before the World Cup. It’s hard to argue eddy and his record but there have been a lot of ...
