Re: Tigers post Borthwick - next Head Coach?

For what it's worth, my source tells me the following * Tigers have been in open dialogue with RFU about this for a while (+12 months) - plan was always end of season * Tigers have a succession plan which will start from the end of the current season ahead of next season (regrettably would not be dr...

Gengey will play and is being rested for europe - courtesy of the man himself on the good, bad and rugby pod.
His partner about to drop another sprog is part of the decision.

Re: Tigers v London Irish (H] - Sunday 27th November 2022 KO 3pm

So Porter isn't travelling with England then? Or is there an agreement? With this being a Sunday game and the England being Saturday, he may well be a travelling reserve, but if there's no injuries he'll join us and play... if he's needed for England then I expect we'll make a late change too Porte...

I think if you swap 13 and 23, that would be close - but then I've never got too close to SB's selections with my guesses !!!

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests

A superb podcast each and every week - thanks to you both. It covers approx 4 commutes to and from work for me each week meaning I get lost in a bit of tigers which is fine by me. Quality of guests has been a fantastic bonus from the start (loved Sam Harrison) but not over done. Heed the more common...

I would say both Wiese and Montoya are owed and deserving of a holiday before they return to Tigers

The same could be said of Ollie Chessum though.

Also, JVP would surely be in this group too of needing extensions or new contracts ??

Re: Clermont travel arrangements

Clermont is not the easiest to get to. Flights to Lyon are cheap - and this is a great destination in its own right. There are cheap trains and buses to Clermont from there - although if the game is on a Sunday this becomes a little more tricky. Trains to Clermont run from Paris - cheap enough if yo...

Re: Country Road adopted lyrics

It started in Clermont when their band started up, Pithhead, dont know his real name, took this up adapted it to Leicester Tigers, at the end after we had won, all the Tigers team came over to our corner of the ground and all of them joined in with our singing, they loved our support. For those who...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 04th June 2022 KO 15:00

i agree with the sentiments of the rolling maul podcast - the Wasps game is the start of "knock out" rugby - effectively a quarter final to secure top spot - then it's a genuine knock out semi final and then, who knows? So - for knock out rugby you go full bore - which is what we did v new...
