Re: Stand up our hero, Sam Vesty!
Point proven,Vesty and Dupuy won the match for us. Vesty ,of course must stay with Flood as his co- fly half. We need another top notch prop, cover at hooker, and a lightening wing now we have thrown Varndell away. Plus an experienced no 9 to help out Youngs and Ellis.Pace is what we need and once a...

Re: Stand up our hero, Sam Vesty!
We are very lucky in having five superb half backs. I do not envy the choice Cockerill has to make next weekend, but ,for me, Vesty and Dupey to start and Flood and Ellis on the bench. But Ben Youngs is undoubtedly Englands' next longterm no 9 and if he plays , he will excell. Being out and out favou...

Re: Deano
The two most successful and respected teams in Rugby Union and Soccer, Toulouse and Manchester United , have retained their Coaches through thick and thin.Dean made some bad signings and possibly would not listen to advice but we should never have got rid of him ,or for that matter ,John Wells.

Re: Give Cockers the job.
I presume the two Petes' read these forums---everyone spoken to wants Cockerill, they would seriously undermine the supporters who are mostly pretty intelligent people,if they went elsewhere. But one assumes they will keep him on his toes till the seasons' end........

Wonderful romantic rhetoric , however props and locks, allegedly dont share these emotions ,therefore the two Petes might not understand. In plain English, lets KEEP VARNDELL!!

Re: Give Cockers the job with mauger as backs coach
There is now a vast amount of support for Cockerill from the majority of fans spoken to. Leicester has always fared best when the chips are down and now that the previous regimes playing structure and rigidity have been hopefully washed away, now is the time for the Board to solidify Cockerill as He...

Re: 'Save the Vest'
The way Vesty has revitalized our backs and mindset makes Flood, I'm afraid very much no 2. As for DH, he will be totally redundant in the grand scheme of things, unless of course there is an injury. But even then I personally am not convinced he has the ability to open up--or am I wrong?

Re: Cockers for head coach!!!!!!!
After the complete horlicks over the last two foreign coaches, I totally agree that Cockerill more than deserves his chance, especially as he has at last got the Tigers playing total rugby. Plus the money saved for not having to pay top whack for foreigner no 3 could go on a player..................

Re: Mauger today and the team
First time post ever,.! As a very long standing supporter,1953 was the first visit to Welford Road ,today was a dawning on the realization ,that for years we have wasted one of our most valuable club assets ,a superb all round player but generally thought to be lacking in pace and maybe too nice a g...
