Re: Parking at the Wasps Nest.

When travelling away I use www.justpark.com to secure a parking space close by to stadium; these are pretty much private driveways. I've always managed to get parking within 10 mins walk for a few quid and have never been let down.

Re: Message for George Ford.

Having read the title for this thread I was expecting a message to George of support and acceptance back into the Tigers family. George isnt a villain that has personally engineered Freddie out of the club. A thread to thank Freddie for his service and loyalty would have perhaps been more apt given ...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread

I started looking through a few Tongan players when I realised O'Connor had been coaching them, seemed to make sense he may target a few given historically we've benefitted from some south sea islander physicality in our side. Here are some of the players that stood out. Valentino Mapapalangi - 23 ...

Re: Will Saracens win a trophy this season?

But I didn't, the post is about Saracens not Tigers! is this a forum or a kangaroo court where small print required :smt043 So why bring kangaroos into it? My point was clearly about trying not to read too much into recent performances by Saracens (and competitors generally) or to regard them as so...

Re: Will Saracens win a trophy this season?

Hardly the highest of peaks, Saracens have lost three of their last five away games in PR; Bath, Worcester and Gloucester. Saracens have won their last 5 AP games including 2 away.If that isnt decent form late in the season dont know what is You might as well say Tigers' recent form late in the sea...

Re: Will Saracens win a trophy this season?

Their form seems to have peaked late in the season but more than enough in the tank to win the AP and CC. Re: Team vs Newcastle

Excellent result :smt023 What is worrying is the really poor handling skills. Mauger said, on his arrival, that the Tigers need to go back to basics and learn ball skills. While I enjoyed the game and the win, I do not see the Tigers getting beyond the semis if they continue with the number of hand...

Re: Ellis Genge re-signs!

Excellent news, another great performance by Genge today. Instead of reacting petulantly to the red mist he seems to now use it to bait the opposition pack; had a good chuckle today as Genge walked away laughing from the handbags he instigated after he scored. :smt001

Re: Coach

A moot point now, but highlighting Premiership experience as a must have during search for a new DoR / HC has potential to shoot us in the foot. Eddie Jones doesnt have Premiership experience but knows the competition pretty much as well as any and is technically capable of competing on paper with o...

Re: Sarries v Glasgow

Watching Schalk Brits come on as sub for Jamie George in half time and make such an impact on the game led me to consider Harry Thacker's role at Tigers. With many a voice claiming Harry is not a natural hooker the contribution Harry brings to the pack is in similar vein to Brits.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread

We need at least one class 10 or 10/12. I keep cringing when contemplating a long-term Ford injury. Agree. Priority has to be an outstanding 10 even over an super carrying 8. At present we have LH and LM who cover 8 position "reasonably well". With Burns and Williams going plus Ford being...

Re: Matt O'Connor In...Mauger Out

About a month ago Ben Ryan commented in the media that Rugby skills in general have not evolved at the same rate of other top global sports over the past 30 years or so. Completely saw where Ben was coming from with these comments and was really hoping to see us appoint a dynamic leadership team to ...
