Well said, I couldn't agree with you more. Without the top clubs, there is no England team.Personally I think it's about time the RFU were taught a lesson about the importance of club rugby!

Re: Tigers v Ospreys (A) - Sunday 11th December 2022 - KO 17.30
I was not too happy when I looked at the team selected and the bench looked decidedly weak. What a pleasure it was then to see us defeat a provincial side with so many internationals. I hadn't been too impressed with Anthony Watson until tonight but that try reminded me of what a great talent he is ...

Re: Tigers post Borthwick - next Head Coach?
Not according to the NZ press. They are saying her has no chance of being the ABs next coach.
He has obviously upset someone in the hierarchy!

Re: Tigers post Borthwick - next Head Coach?
Whether the club had agreed beforehand is still conjecture and press speculation, to be confirmed or not.. Looking at the broader picture, the long term successor to Eddie for many was Baxter of Exeter. Seen by many, including me as the standout candidate. That club made sure he was well tied up wit...

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)
Sapajoe wrote Why would Robertson come here when he is odds on favourite to be the next All Blacks coach post the World Cup That's not what several publications are reporting!. From what I have read, despite being a great and successful club coach he is not favoured at all by the NZ RFU. In fact th...

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)
Woops! I can't believe I wrote Robinson instead of Robertson.( Late night and a glass of whiskey).Sorry to confuse you. However the point remains a good one if I call him "Razor". Above all he is a proven, very successful coach He would be quite an acquisition. We live in hope. Opinion amo...

He is the stand out coach in world rugby and if England don't want him, we as sure do.
If Borths is going that is!

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)
We think SB would be mad to accept the England job. It is a poisoned chalice and will bring him nothing but grief.
Like Johnno, he is nowhere near ready or experienced enough. It will all end in tears
If they take Aled and Kev with him I will be spitting nails.

If England DO get SB,(and it's not yet confirmed), why don't we use the massive compensation to bring in Robinson to Tigers?

Re: Tigers post Borthwick
The England pack got bullied by South Africa and who was in charge of them? Cockers! I can't believe the RFU have so little knowledge of him to even consider him as head coach. We were so relieved when he was sacked and the stagnation he oversaw came to and end. Is Borths really prepared for the :ce...

Re: Borthwick for England
If Borths has been reading the papers and social media with respect to Eddie, why on earth would he want to subject himself to that rubbish? While Eddie bears the ultimate responsibility for the team, the failure this autumn has been down to the pack. Who has been in charge of coaching the pack? Our...
