I take back what I said about Wells in the week, playing very well in the pack. Some big carries from Leatigaga, all of the forwards have fronted up!
Lovely break by Olowofela splitting the defence apart but Veainu dropped the ball in their 22, should have been a try.

Re: The World Cup Final
My view, for what it's worth, is that we (as in Eddie) didn't take into consideration the effort from last week. Kruis and Itoje should have stated in the second row, maybe Joe in the front row and maybe bulk up the back row with Lawes and Wilson. Meet bulk with bulk. Maybe, just maybe the squad wa...

Re: The World Cup Final
Odd selection for me in picking May when he clearly wasn’t fit. Cokanasiga should have started, better than an 80% fit May.
England will get better. Most of these players will be around until the next World Cup and we have some serious talent coming through.

Re: Northampton vs Quins
Been very impressed with Grayson and Painter, could see them playing for England. Will be fighting it out with Marcus Smith and Heyes respectively. As well as good coaching Saints rise back up the table is by and large down to their academy producing some very good players. Premiership standard lads...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
Thacker is on the bench isn't he and Evans isn't playing this weekend. But yes our depth really needs work on. Granted teams like Gloucester, Bristol and Quins are not really affected but the likes of Sarries and Saints are both missing a lot of players yet looking so much better. My bad I just ass...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
The lack of quality in our team is frightening. I know we have players away at the World Cup, but it’s still difficult to fathom when you have Slater, Thacker and Evans starting in other packs this weekend.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
Odd selection for me. Why isn’t Hardwick playing 10 with Reid and Viljoen outside him. No idea why Viljoen has been dropped. No worse than anyone else.
Can’t see anything other than a Gloucester win. Then we’re in a bad spiral.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
I'm not meaning to be harsh on Hardwick, but I don't think you can argue that he isn't in the same class as the fly half on the other team this weekend. Olowofela simply isn't good enough yet, and may never be. Short stocky players sometimes prove that the small guys can succeed in rugby, but the t...

Hearing that Saints have signed Kpoku for next season. Good business for them.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
Being a bit harsh on Hardwick and Olowofela, both played very well for Eng U20. Especially Olowofela, one of the standouts which earned him a call up into the EPS. Bar the missed kicks for touch, thought Viljoen looked good in the 13 shirt. Anyone know the status on Youngs, assuming he’ll be fit for...

Re: Leicester vs Saracens
Towards the end there were glimpses, Worth was unlucky as Maitland flat out kneed him before he could even touch the ball and Gigena made a half-break, a bit poor from Liebenberg in his finish, the scrum half didn't even put too much pressure on the ball. Tigers tinted glasses there, Maitland and W...

Re: Leicester vs Saracens
If we do bring in Borthwick, make him DOR and cut out the deadwood. I would never say this lightly and don’t want to see people lose their jobs but we don’t want Murphy, Deacon, Bakewell or Blake. Keep Stanko, move Ford to defence coach and look to bring in an established attack coach. Then we will ...

Re: Leicester vs Saracens
Got back and there weren’t many supporters at the game, didn’t see any Sarries fans at all to be honest. Can’t blame the atmosphere as there was nothing to cheer or get behind. Awful game of rugby, so lethargic and uninspired in attack. No line breaks, no attacking patterns and no imagination from t...

Re: Leicester vs Saracens
Guessing Youngs is injured. Never going to get a better chance at beating Saracens, missing their internationals with a very weak bench for them.

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation
Isiekwe would be a great addition. Physical player who can jump in the lineout and also cover blindside very well at club level. Feel like we still need investment in the pack next season.
