Re: New Salary Cap Breach?
Salary cap discussed by Dayglo and Ugo on Rugby Tonight. More balanced that I was expecting but: 1. Compared to Sarries big breach rather than smaller breaches by Quins and another. 2. Said no other clubs had missed out as Tigers had not won anything, but Falcons were relegated instead of Tigers in...

Got to say, not a fan of the ‘held up > goal line drop out’ ruleWhitecapTiger wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 4:26 pm Fatboys maul held up over the lone, goaline dropout
Maybe that's why they let a back finish it last time

Re: New Salary Cap Breach?
Just hoping more than anything that this is turned around quickly. If it’s as severe as we probably all fear then I just want it done with and we take the appropriate punishment. It dragging on for months just lingers over the current squad, and to a point detracts from all the good achievements thi...

New Salary Cap Breach?
Fissler reporting that one of the ‘current top 6’ are being investigated into suspected cap breaches, and that the club ‘isn’t Saracens’. Leaves us, Exeter, Quins, Gloucester, Saints.
The investigation will carry on into the New Year.
Please god, with the season we’re having, don’t be us.

Didn’t directly mean from a cap perspective, more positionally. With strong rumours that both those are off at the end of the season, be interested to see how they manoeuvre their marque slot

Re: Genge leaving
I think it was the later. I was booing at the time and then notice he was on the screen which made me chuckle a bit but my booing was definitely at the decision not Ellis. One person behind me decided that booing a Tigers player would set a good example to his kids sitting alongside him. Takes all ...

Re: Genge leaving
Don’t know if it’s just where I was in the ground today, but it 100% seemed like Genge was boo’d when showed on the screen during the game. Either that or the crowd were boo’ing a decision by the ref and it coincided with his face being on the screen… I think it was the later. I was booing at the t...

Wonder if it’s a case of Tomi Agbongbon in, Brink out. Would make sense from a cap perspective.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls
Agreed about Nephi not being starter. He's a near perfect bench option as he plays both sides, carries and is great over the ball. His stats don't read like a starting prop in the Top 14 or Premiership though. 17/18 - Biarritz (Pro D2) - 19 apps, 11 starts 18/19 - Biarritz (Pro D2) - 10 apps, 1 sta...
