Re: Wishing You A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Have a great Christmas and a happy and healthy 2011.

Am aiming to get to a few more games next year so would be good to put some faces to names.

Best regards,
Spike

Re: Castro insists he still wants to remain a Leicester Tiger

Sadly I think Castro will go. Let's face it £400K to £250K, which of us wouldn't as much as we love this club; that is one hell of a pile of fivers. Especially, as the window for opportunity is short in the game as it is now. However, as others have mentioned if he goes (and I hope he doesn't) he wi...

Re: Brendon Venter Interview on Sky

The main context of the interview is "Did Saracens lose?", they only have something to say when they lose....... That was the musings of a sulky school child and in my opinion the 'defence' of it by the Saracens' board is as bad as if the critisicm had been made in the interview with the '...

Re: Single Malt Whisky

http://www.arranwhisky.com/Arran-Single-Malts/ I seriously recommend the 10 year old Arran from this site. If you know your whisky, this Arran is something special. Trust me. BJ makes a very good point. Personally I don't drink but we had a holiday on Arran a couple of years ago and stayed at Loch ...

Re: Christmas Moaning

I hate to break it to you, Spike, but it doesn't improve even when they're students. Am beginning to realise that, just sorting colleges out for eldest and the travel costs for getting from one part of the back end of nowhere to another are massive before the new kit, boots, fitness stuff, gym membe...

Re: Christmas Moaning

Ok, today's Christmas moan is that even though our Christmas shopping is done (see previous post) the eldest mini-spike informed us last evening of his wish to purchase his young lady a festive present.......(read "Dad, can you lend me £X and take me to our local fine city on Saturday). So afte...

Re: Does the club respond to emails?

My experience on emailing the club has always been brilliant. That is the people concerned have either emailed by return or called me. This is the case across the various departments and honestly have never found anyone who was unhelpful. I honestly wish more 'businesses' were like Tigers in this ma...

Re: Christmas Moaning

All the festive shopping is done (so Mrs Spike tells me) and wrapped (again same source). I do have to take the mini-spike's to the shops (probably Saturday afternoon once the youngest is back from the animal shelter he helps at) at which point we will approach the shops (in Norwich) in the same way...

Re: Has anyone had any snow yet?

We've had a bit, about 3 to 4 inches in total over in Norfolk. Mostly the roads are fine now although the side roads are like glass (and people just can not drive!!!). Thought we were done with the snow as had nothing yesterday but there are a few flakes in the wind this morning. (-5 degrees accordi...

Mrs spike brought the MHT calender for next year yesterday at the Prima Cup event held at our club. She has decided that it will be August from this point forward.........
