Re: Quins drop Robshaw as captain

Sigh. Same-old anti-Robshaw arguments. Not sure which thread you're reading - I can't see any "anti-Robshaw" posts here? Most seem to be along the lines of 'it can only be a good thing for him' and one was more along the lines of 'Wallace has been a better player over the last year" ...

Re: One thing I want this season

There may be some from the club, I don't know - but I do know that there are some people from the media who do dip into this forum.

Re: 7's squad up.

I only caught a little of the highlights on Sunday evening but I did find it quite amusing when the commentator referred to the Saffacens as "Brand Saracens" :smt003 I was a bit miffed with highlights for the other games lasting about nine and a half minutes - the Tigers barely a minute!!!

Re: One thing I want this season

For me, and I suspect a lot of other Tigers supporters, is the issue that some of the kick off times make it impossible for me to attend. Case in point is the Harlequins match this season. Whilst I agree that there is little that the club could do directly, I found it very difficult to justify renew...

Re: Leicester Music Festival

to be honest I don't know why the rules are different for the rugby games and for this concert, possibly to do with a different security company involvement having stricter rules. It's probably more likely that it's to do with the contractual agreement between the Festival organizers and the Festiv...

Re: Pre Season Fixtures

Maybe the reason was that LCFC are at home to Arsenal that weekend and the game could have been on either the Saturday or Sunday. I also am disappointed be the schedule. For me to get to the games I would have to use up a precious days leave and either get home at gone midnight or book a hotel room....

Re: New seasons preparation

Great article - really highlights the positive response from the management team to what, quite frankly, was a very frustrating season last time out.

Also congratulations to Jordan and Ed - or more correctly their respective better half's :smt038

They did pretty much the same thing the last time they got promoted.

Bristol have done the same but without the promotion :smt003

IMHO I would like to see referees really enforcing the laws around players entry into the rucks and mauls. Especially in games involving NZ.

Re: the Champions Cup

Try not to be too patronising. You know exactly what I mean but decide to have a dig instead, lovely. How many teams, from where, knockout single tie or two legs, or a group of four? I thought there was meant to be an aim of developing European rugby, but it seems to be an afterthought at the momen...

Re: the Champions Cup

Still no agreement on who the other two teams in the Challenge Cup will be, or the format of the qualification. Qualification playoffs usually follow a standard format whereby teams play each other and the winning teams progress. Noddy - I think you may have your wires crossed too. I think Biffer w...
