Re: Ford to Bath and other reports
Many people seem to think the move to Bath will be good for George Ford, surely the question is will it be good for Bath. In a years time we will see if George has had 20 plus starts for Bath and if Bath have improved their league position, if they have not I think it likely that Messrs Gold & F...

Toulon travel ALL THREADS MERGED HERE.
The Away Supporters Club having investigated doing the journey to Toulon by coach which would have meant leaving Friday night travelling through the night arriving in Toulon at about 7.00pm and returning on Monday leaving at 8.00am and arriving back in Leicester at about 6.00am Tuesday have decided ...

Re: Toulon may move the game
When Tigers had a similar problem with a home quarter final against Munster a few years ago te situation was aggravated by Heineken & ERC requiring a large quantity of tickets ( I believe about 2000) these were not from the visiting teams allocation.

Whats that about discomfort in the Crumbie, all those sitting there including myself are there by choice and prefer the cosy wooden benches to souless plastic seats.

Re: HC quarter-final predictions
We may not have won in France in the knock out stages since 2001 but I dont recall us playing there so if I am right our last knockout match was won so thats a good record. However I think we will get four tries to defeat Toulouse who wont like the cold on Sunday. We will then find ourselves playing...

Re: Coach Travel to Osprey's
The Away supporters Club have two coaches already in Swansea for the weekend, we also have a day trip coach coming with 36 people on it so far. There shoud be a good number of us shouting the team on at the Liberty, we can win this, come on Tigers!

Re: Sarries LV Cup!
Previous comments about the game are correct, Sarrie defended very well and I think both teams had a problem with the slope. The feature of the game not so far mentioned was the appearance of Matthew Tait for our first team, he came on for about the last ten minutes and whilst not having the opportu...

Re: How to improve Leicester Football Club
My understanding was that the club were prepared to offer a pay as you play contract but this was declined. As we would have had to sign another player of similar status to play for the considerable period when Horacio was not available this would have further stretched the salary cap and led to sho...

Re: England 23 vs. Fiji
I too am surprised by the retention of Launchbury, or even his call up. I am not a fan of Botha although he always gives 100%, I don't think either compare with Kitchener based on this seasons performances.

Re: Treviso Home
One can only have sympathy with visiting fans who may well have booked flights and hotels and will lose money. I remember several years ago when a similar late decision to change the game away to Ulster to a Sunday cost several people more to change just their return flight than the previous charge ...

Re: Saracens new song Jordan C not impressed
Come on! They seem to enjoy singing it, their fans (both of them) seem to enjoy hearing it and as long as they keep it in house we should have no complaint. Of course if they start up with that at Goldington Road we will drown it out with our skilful rendition of Tiiigers, Tiiigers or a series of ry...

Re: Why haven't we got a big screen?
Several clubs in the Premiership do not have a big screen especially when the game is not televised. Some that rent their ground from a soccer team have screens but I can think of only Gloucester that have thier own ground and large screens visible to all or most of their supporters.

Re: Question for those who want Cockers gone
I don't know how long Smudge has been a supporter of Tigers but his memory is certainly strange. It is true that Bob Dwyer prepared our club for the professional era but he destroyed the team, we started well under him but lost games because he replaced our kicker with his less good brother as he th...

Re: Question for those who want Cockers gone
There seems to be many suggestions as to who should be our new coach, many of those suggested have little or no successful record of coaching in the Premiership or anywhere else. Could I suggest two coaches who took charge of a demoralied team languishing in the lower half of the division. Their tea...
