Re: our german tiger fans

Excellent read Bio, thank you. I particularly liked the coffin bit.

If you get to see this, enjoy the game and come back to WR next year.

Re: Salary Cap news

I wouldn't really expect us to "Get Carter", just like to say it! There I go again! Showing my age I suppose. You could have been referring to the modern remake with Sylvester Stalone in the lead role, although if you were it would imply you liked that film which would have been worse. To...

Re: Team news vs Sarries?

I concur. The question is, will we see 36 or Danny H on the bench? 36, I suspect.

Re: Salary Cap news

A Mr. Henson for one.

He might fancy his chances as a Marquee player.

I should think he'd love to be a "Marquee" player.

He certainly loves the media circus, and we all know him as a bit of a clown!

Re: My view of Leicester Tigers

Well, I was also at Murrayfield for the HC final. My friends and I had such barracking and barging, foul-mouthed taunting and general wendyballish behaviour before the game that we decided to head straight off home after the final whistle (we had a driver who was sober and volunteered). The general ...

Re: Hats off to Cockers, Mallinder and O'Shea

Mallinder's problem appears to be one of poor housekeeping. We all know that Saints have a good first team, but little on the bench. So, why is that? They have the same pot as we do but we have a better back up in most positions. It seems to me that Cockers has been shrewd in managing a tight budget...

Re: Keith Barwell

All in all, it's welcome to the big-boy's table. Perhaps, Barwell will remember this when it comes to PRL voting on issues that selectively penalise the high-flyers. Then again, given that Saints' success is not likely to be long term (based on strength in depth and academy contributions to 1st team...

Re: Turnstile Rejecting my season ticket

The fellow I go with had a similar experience, i.e. the turnstile wouldn't let him in. The fault was that his speed to get through had registered his card for the previous gent in the queue. The system read him as in the ground and would not allow him access. He had to go to the ticket office, and t...

Re: Imagine if there were no play offs

What bugs me is that they say the play off system is designed to help clubs who lose a number of players to international duty The play-offs were designed with 2 aims in mind. 1. To stop us running away with the league by the end of February, which we were in the habit of doing at the time. 2. To m...

Re: Leicester v London Irish

With regard to Grindal, 2 points come to mind.

1. When players come on for 90 secs, do they get a payment for playing a part in the game? Is it, therefore, a considerate act by the coach?

2. I didn't see it, but was it he that sent that 1st rate pass to AT for the final try?

Re: Leicester v London Irish

Whatever the reason, we were truly poor for most of today's game. I could see it, everyone around me and all those I spoke to could see it, and Cocky could definitely see it. We can blame England coaches for Floods change of kicking, but all the other :censored: was home-grown - and there was plenty...
