Re: England Team News v Wales 06th August 2011
Jamie Roberts in the toriegraph ""It's England against Wales on Saturday, and it will be massive. It is the ultimate game for any Welsh player to play in, and it's important that we are ready to go." Thanks for the flattery and all that, but is that the height of Welsh ambition? What ...

Re: Is anyone going to Millau?
I wish I could go, a lovely area. The Tarn gorge is worth a trip and of course the famous bridge. One of the few areas where you really can see vultures circling if things go badly! We stayed a night around there last year at this place, http://www.quiers.net, and enjoyed a comfortable night, warm w...

Re: World Junior Cup Final
You are definitely not alone. A real lack of interest from the media.
I can't help but feel that if the scrums had been policed better/at all, and tackling of supporting runners had been penalised, we would have had a very different result. Still the ABs have to learn that stuff somewhere I suppose.

Re: Julian Salvi to Leicester??
And in the process, we missed out on signing Nick Evans, who was keen to come here but got fed up with being messed about.
Now that was an opportunity missed.

"Do you agree Daveyboy that it is exiting times at WR?"
I don't agree, I'm going nowhere! WR for me next season, and the next, and the one after that as well!
Sorry about that, but had to get in before BJ.

Try this article: http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/New-signing-Young-looking-forward-Youngs/story-12723894-detail/story.html Includes the statements: "Young was one of three new Tigers signings on show at Northampton, the others being prop Kieran Brookes, also from Newcastle, and Worcester...

Re: CAT Stand Match Day Atmosphere
The CAT stand is perfect, I always try and sit at the top so that you can see how both sides take each other on. Being at the top has an added bonus of free central heating from everyone below :smt003 Glad to see that Crateman has come out of the mosh pit :smt006 Ah, but my heart still stands on my...

Re: CAT Stand Match Day Atmosphere
I moved over to the Cat stand from the terrace at the start of last year, and it felt a bit like "crossing the floor of the house" - a class traitor. The feeling was definitely more subdued than the bear-pit of the terrace, and there certainly were a share of tartan rugs on show. Perhaps m...

They could be a bit stuffed for the mid-week games, cos on Wednesdays they go shopping and have buttered scones for tea!

Re: Owen Farrell
I'm afraid we get this faulty logic a lot. If he had got either of the 2 kicks, the game would have been different from that point on. We may still have lost by 4, or more. Alternatively, we may have won. We don't know which. What we do know is that him missing them was part of the result we got. It...

Re: Owen Farrell
I always find judgement of potential a bit tricky. Exactly what does it mean other than room for improvement?
If so, I should like to offer myself up as having huge potential as Tiger's next great fly-half.
Because I'd be :censored: useless now!

What price that punch?
OK, just summoned up the courage to come onto the forum after yesterday's performance and I thought I'd make an observation. Before I start, I don't want to point a finger of blame - this is just offerred up as a point of discussion. Now, I know we came up short in many aspects of the final, but in ...

Re: TV Coverage of Aviva Final
If you have Virgin, but no ESPN, ring them and say that your not happy with the service/package (quote price, dodgy box and/or poor reception as reasons). Say that you are changing to something else so that you can get a better deal inc.ESPN and they will probably throw it in FOC. I complained when ...

Re: Saracens still cross about last year
My impression is that we will have more neutral support this year than we're used to. You can thank Saffacens arrogance, bad manners and manner of doing business for that.
Personally, I just can't tolerate what they stand for.
