Re: Who is out there and available?
He didn"t need to name a player, he could have said " we have players that we can pick there but it is sensible to look at possibly bringing in a replacement". Why commit yourself to such a statement like he has made, it just leaves him open to scrutiny, just like I have!

Re: Tigers Vs Gloucester
With our failing lineout I think Croft must be selected, also with BOC out we need to make a change there. I would suggest a completely different set up as follows, Genge, Bateman, Cole, Williams, Barrow, Croft, Kalamafoni, and wait for it, if he must be picked then Thacker at 7. We would match them...

Re: Who is out there and available?
Ha Ha, does O'Connor know what he is saying, he really is a poor judge if that's what he thinks. Smith had 1 purple patch 2 years ago, he surprised everyone, but in the rest of his career he has been just an average winger and a reliable replacement centre, nothing more! :smt017 Perhaps we should se...

Re: Eleventh in the Premiership...and rising!
I wonder if Toomua would be better at 13? His linking with Ford was not same as when Ford linked with Bath or England 12s, Toomua came inside so often and ran into brick walls, I think he is more skillful than a crash ball 12, he would make breaks further out at 13 and May would receive more ball, w...

Re: Ryan - no HIA??
TV made a meal of it, big discussions/comments as to why did he not go off etc, we all saw his head hit hip and today I think I read there is an official investigation going on. I think Murphy got it very wrong!

Re: Saints Away
Re The LIneout, I could not make the game last week but watching on TV it was noticeable that Bath threw the ball directly down their own line on several occasions, they did this by the hooker taking a half yard step to his own line of players, he throws it straight but its down his own line and ref...

Re: Injury Curse Strikes yet again
Lets not lose sight of the fact that rugby is both a sport and a business. How many businesses would accept an employee not being present at work for 2/3 of the last 3 years for whatever reason. Yes Manu has a world class talent which we all value but how often in the last 3 years have we seen it. ...

Re: European travel.
Anyone going to Carcassonne, make sure you have plenty of warm clothing, we visited and stayed there the last time we played Toulouse and there was freezing fog, plane could not land, well below zero, coldest weekend we have ever had!! brrrrrrrr, spectacular place though, the old walled town.

Re: England Women in the world cup
It was a super game, brilliant commitment, very pure rugby but very physical, how those girls tackle, makes some blokes rugby look tame. Yes FH did not kick well from hand but it was chucking it down with rain. Impressed with both sets of goal kicking, ES is some player, and the French girl hit it m...

BOCs looked bad to me, he staggered about terribly, he tore off his head band and threw it onto the ground, looked like serious concussion to me! I think he has a history of concussion if I remember correctly?

Re: Ticket and cup fiasco
John, like you said last year you took your empty back to bar and they swapped dirty glass for a new clean full pint, storing dirty ones behind bar, was this a problem, possible contamination hazard? Or was it a case of some tills showing a pint at £4-20 and some at £5-20? Currently all tills will n...
