Re: 6 Nations 2023

I do,NZ v France and SA v Ireland and the 2 matches between the 4 that follow are QF and SF worthy. Good for the other half of the draw I suppose but then you're in the latter stages of the competition by the luck of the draw and you havnt played anyone yet. Not sure where football comes in but hey...

Re: 6 Nations 2023

I don’t see that as unfortunate. The draw is what it is. Perhaps world rankings for seeding should be done a bit later, however that would make it difficult for fans to buy tickets, accommodation and follow their teams. Better than the Wendy ball option to make sure that the big teams from South Am...

Re: 6 Nations 2023

For me was always going to be Farrell-Manu-Slade midfield for this game. I don’t buy Manu has been in camp to run as Danty - anyone could do that, not like they would be doing loads of full contact sessions. Surprised the journo’s lapped it up As he was banned, he wasn't there to be in the matchday...

Re: Other games - 03-05th March 2023

I only watched the first 30 minutes but I wouldn’t get carried away with that result, still back us to beat them at Welford Road, that’s a very weak Saints team on paper and on the pitch!

https://twitter.com/premrugby/status/1629081477760557057?t=lj4QfDpkylI82J0Inwqamg&s=19 These were the odds before the weekend's game, I'd be interested to see where they stand now? They also had Tigers to beat Irish so I was surprised when saw those odds. I think we need Quins to beat Exeter an...

Re: 6 Nations 2023

BBC highlighting that Borthwick picking ‘reliable’ old timer 28yr old Anthony Watson.

Everyone seems to think he’s going abroad next year but he could easily make the 2027 World Cup after becoming a Tigers legend…Let’s hope!

Re: Tigers v Ospreys (H) - Friday 20th January 2023 - KO 20:00

It means we will be away in the QF if we win in the next round. Home SF though if we were to win that. Beaten Ospreys and it would've been a home QF and an away SF. You sure? We’re likely to come 4th and would have likely come 3rd if we had won. Surely need to be top 2 to get home QF. Yes,maybe tha...

Re: Tigers v Ospreys (H) - Friday 20th January 2023 - KO 20:00

Looks like we'll be at home vs Quins or Edinburgh? Yep, looks like Munster would need a big win to overtake us and would expect Toulouse to win that comfortably at home. Likely the loss against Ospreys doesn’t really have any material impact on the competition, doesn’t make it any less frustrating!...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

Harry Williams linked with a move to France. It seems the players are showing their levels of confidence in the club's financial security since announcement that the Hotel is being sold to help liquidity Surprised French teams are interested in him - seems to give away a penalty at almost every scr...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

The closest example to a club losing this many starting players would probably be the 2020/2021 season for us where we lost May, Thompstone, Holmes, Spencer, Thompson, Kalamafoni, Polota-Nau, Veainu, Tuilagi, Taufua and Bateman but that was due to the contract 5 and Borthwick coming in and refreshi...

Re: Eddie Jones appointed Head Coach for Australia!

They can’t have a non compete clause if they want him gone from his contract early. One thing if Eddie resigned but if RFU wanted him out they had to pay him regardless. This is what I thought as well. Non-compete when you sack someone generally seems odd to me. Also he won’t know the inner working...
