Re: Burgess to play for the Saxons..

It is really encouraging to know that you really have to prove yourself to get into the England setup. I am really pleased Sam Burgess is going to be picked because he has shown what a world class rugby union player he is. The England camp have really got it right. Forget players who really have som...

Re: Paul Burke

Think this is a case of too many cooks and MB has been deemed surplus. There clearly needs to be more clarity of thought and it seems those of the newly appointed defence coach and GM have prevailed.

Re: Show your support for Richard Cockerill

We have unfortunately been here before and he has always been at the helm in bringing us through it...The time to debate will be at the end of the regular season.

Re: Time for everyone to stick together

This is a difficult start and obviously disappointing. However, when you think back to the defeat we inflicted on Exeter Chiefs it does show the potential we have when we have a strongish team out. That win was without experienced props. I say that because our young props are having to develop in ve...

Cockrill radio interview

Listened to the interview on radio Leicester last nights (was posted on the BBC website as well). He made some interesting observations and there was a lot of reason to what he said. You cannot afford to panic in his position and he has weathered storms before so we all need a little calm and I am a...

Re: Quins drop Robshaw as captain

I think if CR is to keep his place in the England team he has to improve his ground work, especially his ability to turn over possession. This move is definitely designed to help CR, but the real questions are:- If England want to win the WC is CR a 7 who can become a game changer? There is no doubt...

Ref for Semi

Does anyone know who has been appointed.

Personally I would rather not have Barnes as controversy seems to be a feature of most games he does between us and Saints.

I do not think he is a bad ref, but I would like the ref taken out of the equation

Re: Toby Floods last home game for TIGERS

Unfortunately I cannot be there today and I am really sorry to miss Toby Flood's last home game. He has been fantastic and I was really worried abut finding someone to replace him but in Williams and hopefully Burns I feel we will be ok.

All the best to Toby and his family and thank you.

Re: 49-6 Respect is due

I was surprised at C.A's lack of composure. After managing the sin bin period well, they seemed incapable of taking stock and pinning Saracens back. They tried to barge their way through, which was futile and not kick for terrority. I know they feared their counter attack but good kicking could have...

Re: Quins Vs Tigers

Loss of Crane was huge tonight as we lacked control at the base of the scrum. Also the failure of the ref to penalise their front row. But as RC said we move on. In all honesty I think we are about 3 games away from being at our best but we don't have any time to get things sorted. The injuries over...

Re: Sinners v Tigers

Great game for me the issue at the end was immaterial. The ball was knocked on by Saints in the move so should have been a scrum to us. For me also MOTM was AA. No one could get through him. They all tried Burrell; North and they were all stopped dead. His tackling was A1 and his link up play fantas...

Re: Teams Up

Interesting team. Not surprised Floods been omitted as I think he is having difficulty coming to terms with being out of the England set up and lets face it you cannot blame him. I also think we may have to accept that Kitchener needs a longish period of rest...roughly translated as out for the rest...
