Re: We Need More Chants!

I love instances of one off individual wit rather than repetitive collectivism.

Favourite ever shout from the Crumbie was a response to Hawkins being sent off after 90 seconds (V. Bath Plugs, or whatever they call their second team)
"Well Done Ref. He's been doing that all night."

Re: Half-time entertainment this season

Paint ball mascot hunting. Failing that a chat about the first half, a run through the programme, a review of the season and a drink. I'm easily pleased. Content to chat about our brilliant team and their progress. One of the best things about the standing stand is finding someone different to bandy...

Re: Matt Poole Collectors Items

Is Matt aware you have this stuff?

It might be polite to offer it to him first.

He is, I believe, still around the County.

Re: Cockers should be cloned for Stains visit

Most interesting would be for Richard to attend the match disguised as himself, amidst a Crumbie full of identical paper faces.

Re: Glad the team is not as incompetent as the shop!

The club shop is generally excellent, and the Post office often isn't.

The ability to deliver stuff to a know address would seem a prerequisite of offering a service of delivering stuff to a known address. The Royal Mail is often found lacking.

I know were I'd look.

Re: Lions to tour France..?

A very fine French Barbarians team could be easily assembled from Lions qualified players in France; same sort of game and players. different logo.

Re: Lions to tour France..?

Keep the lions in the Southern Hemisphere where it doesn't interfere with our season, scrap the autumn internationals, or incorporate them into the six nations.

None of our business really, but I hope they'll have a Barwell stand or similar down there. Sounds as if he deserves an enduring honour.

Heard a rumour he was cover for Flanker after his appearance there for England.

Makes as much sense as anything else.

Re: Who will be our captain next season?

Disagree, not with Tobermory as captain, but with the idea of the role being symbolic. When we've struggled its been through poor leadership on the pitch; I remember Geordan's intervention from the bench or touchline turning a few games around. If England do the nepotism thing I'd love Tobermory to ...

Re: One minute silence - why not?

For an example of how concern over these issues can be addressed, and the urge to help fulfilled, see here http://www.leicestertigers.com/news/16616.php Well done Tigers, players and attendees. nb how this is not driven by the news agenda but is ongoing charitable effort that meets the concern for D...

Re: One minute silence - why not?

I would like to remember all those who died in all wars, particularly the civilians, whose deaths generally outnumber the professionally involved. I would like an end to war, and an end to the arms industry, and a new John Lennon song. I'll not hold my breath, but I will pray. Except for the last on...
