Re: Cockerill has to go

Maybe seldomwrong was referring to the attack in the first half where Waldrom chose to hold on to the ball and head to the line and hit the post pad high up but fell short (was pushed back?) of the line. There were men available outside him, whether there was a clear route for the ball or not I cann...

Re: London Wasps v Leicester

Anyone still have a problem with staunton at 10? OK he wasn't outstanding, but when he went off the much vaunted replacements didn't live up to the hype. Lots to work on, passing, holding the ball, DECISIONS (should I pass or not) the decision making of some players today, and I'll single out Thomas...

Re: London Wasps v Leicester

This is schoolboy stuff I'm afraid.

You have to give wasps a bit for knuckling down but they've fed off our inabilty to pass, hold onto the ball in contact and our basic errors!!

Cannot believe what I've seen this half!

Either way, Stockport are playing away at Oxford apparently, so why the Friday night kick-off? Mayb e it's a condition of the ground share agreement, a certain % can't be played on saturdays.

Maybe there's a local pizza deal on Friday nights :smt002

Re: Castro and Toulouse

He's setting up a 2nd Resteraunt i believe and has obvious business interests here. I'd imagine if this success continues it shan't be long before Rugby isnt his main income anyway. I'm confident he will stay - he is immensly loyal, has alot of roots here and is probably the crowds favourite player...

As long as he watches his use of expletives during after match interviews, and doesn't spit the dummy when things don't revolve around him.

Re: ITV Rugby Highlights

Just noticed that the first chance to catch the highlights for free on ITV is 12.15 (Quarter past midnight) in the very early hours of a Monday morning on ITV 1. Several repeats including 6pm Monday on ITV4. I will still watch it at 8pm on Sunday ITV4. As everyone will have to get digital by May 20...

Re: New Away Shirt

Have to say I'm not really impressed with the new shirt, but it's the quality that'll be wearing it on the pitch that'll shine through. I just hope that they don't have any problem picking each other out on the pitch during away games when it's worn. guess we had to be the grey men of rugby one day!...

Re: Lee Robinson

I might be wrong but my memory reminds me he frightened the life out of Varndell--- running over him a couple of times to score ?? Maybe three years ago ? To be fair, that could've been one of many :smt002 TVs defence was never up to much IMO :smt002 I am looking forward to Robinson getting a chanc...

Re: "Ironic" booing

I didn't boo.....I jeered :smt002 It was pantomime jeering by the way and was followed by laughter, emphasising (in my case) that it was theatrical, and was done by MANY around and about, in the same lighthearted manner! There's no dark art to it, just go with the flow, relax (try that sometimes it'...

I think Johnno may be thinking he is breeding hunger & competition for places by not commiting, but, and I may be way off mark, I think all he is close to breeding is frustration, exasperation and dare I say it....contempt. Bor(e)thwick is NOT the future, he was a figure of ridicule with his poi...
