Re: Rock concerts at the Tigers

Depends on the bands wouldnt mind a local one like kasabian but if they done it in the cat stand with only 1000 capacity in the function room if they do have big names hopefully they will give priority to season ticket holders. i am sorry but why should season ticket holders get pirority it would n...

Re: RFU/Premiership in bed with London clubs?

By playing fixtures away from the home team's ground denies the local business and traders income. I'd rather pay Leicester prices than London prices never mind the extra dosh you have to lay out for the travel. if you book your train tickets in advance it dose not cost you so much and if you go to...

Re: RFU/Premiership in bed with London clubs?

So, the premiership kicks off with Wasps and Quins in the money spinner at Twickenham. I also notice the Quins v Wasps game is scheduled for the weekend of Dec 26th/27th. What are the chances of that one being switched to Twickenham too?! Both fixtures will undoubtely now be played there, giving th...

Re: RFU/Premiership in bed with London clubs?

I don't think the concept of sarcasm has reached Melton yet. Hey ho! Classic zena, totally missed the point again. i have not missed any point you were being sarcastic about the london clubs and it is only being jealous. plus it will be good to see all the ex tigers players and staff down there lik...

that charity would be a very good one

Re: Will we ever play at the Crisp Bowl again?

Simple question... I hate the walkers. I'll put it simply; today was my first game there (only my second live Tigers of the season) and to put it simply; it was terrible. Awful atmosphere, rubbish beer, some ruffian element I've never seen at Tigers before and stewards who had a panic if you dared ...

Is the Merc finally realising that the Tigers are the main sports team in Leicester?

Re: Not so 'Supporting' attititude

I think it's a bit rich considering the number of times the Tigers have had their kick-off times moved so the supporters don't leave at the same time as the football supporters. I don't seem to remember any football kick-offs being moved. don"t blame the football for you having to change you k...

because if you were a peaceful demonstrator you would not cover your face with a scarf No. You're right. Re: Police hit another G20 protester

I know what you mean Kin, but it's a democracy. We have a right to peaceful protest and not worry that some thug in a blue suit is going to belt you in the face with a shield. It's the intimidating nature of these lines of police that often ignites violence, I believe. And with the Hillsborough sto...
