Re: 3rd January 2021 v Bath
I mean "yikes" at the defence, rather than the scoreline per se, although obviously 0-14 isn't hugely encouraging. It would be fair to say that the plenty of time left in the first half refers to Bath as well as Tigers. Still, yes, one would hope for a reaction and for Tigers to settle int...

Re: Team vs Saints
Yes, that was coming, sadly. Tigers can't get and hold possession. Tackling is getting worse and worse. Shame the Captain is off the field.

Yesss!!! A try from a rolling maul no less!! Well done Jake Kerr (and co). Maybe that's Tigers' best attacking option at the moment.

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20
Tiger's line out if now falling apart. This is going to be a really long afternoon, with little field position or possession. Arguably the best performance of the SB era so far, was the "opener" away at Exeter?
Good work from Stanko's boys wins a scrum penalty...that's more like it!

Manu under the posts. Obviously!
Tigers couldn't hold out forever. Really need to cut out the mistakes and get some field position.

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20
Ouch. Cole and Genge pinged for not rolling away. Genge was at the bottom, under bodies, and Cole was making at least half an effort to get out. Bit harsh I think. Sale kick for the corner. Tigers defence getting a good work-out!

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20
Lavinini pinged for tackling without arms, and penalty gets reversed.....but...still not yellow for him! Very lucky. Mind you, as the ruck developed, a Sale player came in leading with the shoulder too, but that was not looked at (!)

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20
Try for Sale. Tigers couldn't keep repelling the short range tap and go penalties. Lavinini offside 3 times in 30 seconds? Am surprised he didn't get a yellow, unless that got forgotten in the scoring of the try?

Re: Gloucester vs. Tigers - Sun 30 Aug 20 (1630)
Well, it's Gloucs' record for points in a half. I think the coaches have to call the second half a re-set, ie assume it is back to 0-0 and go from there. If Tigers can avoid losing the second half then that is something.

6th in. On the counter. More than a point a minute now. Interesting half time team talk coming up, though am not sure what can done....oh George Ford has been brought on. That's tough on him!

Re: Gloucester vs. Tigers - Sun 30 Aug 20 (1630)
4th try in. I guess the hope is that Gloucs take their foot off the gas, and maybe even use some subs early - the likes of May don't need to be out there at the minute.

Re: Gloucester vs. Tigers - Sun 30 Aug 20 (1630)
3rd try in. Again I think there were at least two forward passes during the phases. Hopefully Tigers get similar leniency, should they get some possession (and attempt more than "one out" attacks).
