In many ways we'll miss him more than FB for his versatilty. Will always be welcome at Welford Road and assured of a good reception.

Re: An end to endless tropes about players who left?
Totally agree. Some awful decisions have been made but we cannot go back and change them much as we may like to. The last few games hopefully are an indicator for next season. At least some silverware this season - something the other clubs in the league would have welcomed with open arms.

Re: Pre departure - Lions chat
A big loss as he would be the number one choice. On the other side delighted for Haskell to be going - richly deserved.

British and Irish Lions plan to launch women's team
A women's version of the British and Irish Lions could be launched some time after 2019, according to the team's chief operating officer Charlie McEwan

Seems like a step in the right direction considering the growing interest in the women's game.

Re: Ben Youngs withdraws from Lions squad
Such terrible news for Tom and his whole family - and well done Ben for taking such a supportive decision. I'm sure they'll have the love, understanding and prayers of the whole Tigers' family - indeed, the whole rugby family. Very, very true. :smt009 Plus 1 - couldn't have put it better myself. Th...

Re: Lions Squad
AWJ is in but no Launchbury. At least Roberts is not in! Biggest shock to me is Ross Moriarty in ahead of Haskell and Robshaw. Two out of three of those flankers have been crucial to most of England's great away wins over the past 18 matches or so. One of them had a half decent game at home v Engla...

Re: Lions Squad
Oh dear ! Kruis is a good player but injured for four months so potential over form to leave Launchbury out - somehow he'll end up there due to injuries. Biggar over Ford? WG must like a whinger at 10 Moriarty in over Robshaw and Haskell ? Nah 12 from a team that finish 5th? Sentiment gets North and...

Re: Jiffys lost his voice
Its about time BBC et al get rid of guscott, jiffy, inverdale, butler and moore and get those with more recent experience on the box. BT have a good crew albeit not perfect are ok. ITV with Sir Clive and Jonny are worth listening to

Re: How refreshing he would be at Welford Road
I think Ryan would do well to confine his comments to that :censored: game 7 a side rugby. Fiji, Tonga etc etc are brilliant at this form of the game but do not perform well in the proper game. You would have to coach a good international winning side in the 15 format to gain my respect boyo. A som...

How refreshing he would be at Welford Road
Have we missed a trick here by not having him as our skills coach?

Irrespective of yellow cards for football the players need to show respect for the referees - be they (the referees ) prime Donna or not

Re: Cockerill to Toulon
I do think this puts into perspective some of Cockers' comments of last few weeks, undoubtedly, IMO, he knew what was coming and probably had this squared away, might explain some of his open comments about refereeing decisions/standards etc i.e. nothing Must have missed this - can you clarify plea...
