Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

"OK, say you get your wish and we sack all the coaches on Monday, then what? Who runs the sessions on Tuesday at Oval Park in preparation for Worcester?" Who cares who runs the sessions, it can't get any worse than it already is. As it's now a 'dead season' as Tigers can't get relegated th...

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

I think those expecting Borthwick to ride into town and sort it all out are somewhat over optimistic. For a start he's a forward and it's our backs and the way the team plays as a whole that are the biggest problems. Not only that but those that got us into this hole will still be around and can any...

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

Another night of absolute boring, brain dead Rugby and another record defeat. Murphs should be running a pub team, which is about the standard Tigers are playing to nowadays. Simply awful. :smt009 :smt009

Always a shame to hear of Rugby players having a bad injury. I wish him all the best.

Always looking on the bright side :smt005
Nah I'm looking at the Premiership table.

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

Our usual brilliant lineout continues! Looks to me they've worked out Tigers line out, which wouldn't be hard as it's so poor. Forwards holding their own otherwise but mid field play very poor as usual, The table doesn't lie and Tigers are bottom by 5 points for a reason (ignoring Saffas). Can't se...

Somebody better tell the moron in the crowd that several of the Scottish squad are actually English, not to mention the Kiwis, Aussies and Sarf African contingent.

Re: Scotland V England

I fail to see how just kicking to the 22 with no real challenge or pressure put on the receiver and which results in a simple mark is good tactics in any weather. Go check how many times that results in a positive outcome for the kicking team, yesterday there were at least 3 attacking options squan...

Re: Scotland V England

I counted at least 3 times in the first half when good possession was squandered with a pointless kick to the 22 and a mark called and all pressure gone. So, for the sake of argument, they end up being dropped instead of marked, as we saw from several other passages of play. Are they then brilliant...

Re: Scotland V England

Well it was a poor game and I wasn't impressed with any of them apart from Curry (should not be at 8 though) and Underhill and of course Genge when he came on. Heinz should not be anywhere near the EPS nor Joseph and Farrell is well out of form and too dull to be captain (EJ seems to like dull capta...

Re: France v England

Pretty awful, reminded me of Tigers games. No discernable game plan, side to side for a few phases then hoof the ball away. Lost pretty much every contact at the ruck. Only positive thing I can take from that game is Jonny May saved England from getting nilled. There's quite a few today where that s...
