Re: Super Rugby additions to Pro12

The Pro12 is a multi-national tournament. The Premiership isn't. There's your difference. Allowing South African teams into the Premiership would be a massive can of worms that we could well do without.

Anyway, is South Africa really all that awash with money?

Re: New Forum!

One thing for the website though: Could we have players' stats for their whole career on their bios rather than just the last three seasons?

Re: New Forum!

Forum: A massive improvement. Looks much smarter and is now actually usable on mobile devices. However, the icons on the left would be better and it does need a link to take the user back to the homepage or other parts of the website. Incidentally, viewed in portrait on a mobile device it looks very...

Re: Injury Updates

Manu expected to return middle to end September, Cilliers unlikely to be ready start of season and Dan Cole will need time to recover from Lions tour, otherwise ok. ...which means we need tighthead back up - which looks like it will be in the shape if an American international whose name escapes me.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2017/18 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread!

I can't imagine for a moment there won't be more quality signings for next season in the backs.

Threats made against Cohen

Just echoing what I said on the Facebook group. According to one account of last night's forum meeting, Simon Cohen revealed that the worst of the abuse he received personally last season were death threats. If that was you, get a grip of yourself. You might agree with his work, you might disagree. ...

Re: TMO Manipulation

We didn't always have a big screen. The Ricoh has one but it's as good as, if not a little better, than asking someone in the crowd to draw an artist's impression of the incident. For these reasons, TMO referrals should rest with the TMO. Also, I don't think what the TMO sees should be shown on the ...

Re: Watching the Lions

31-31.

I was listening rather than watching so can't comment accurately. But sounds frustrating to have drawn a game we should have won having been comfortably ahead.

I'm not sure it presents any great indicator for how the test is going to go, mind.

Re: TMO Manipulation

This isn't new. You'll recall that this is what led to Hartley being sent off against us that time at the Gardens. For me, when the TMO is referred the decision it should be the TMO's call. He has a clearer view than the referee has. If the referee says what he has seen and the TMO agrees with him, ...

That's a hell of a jump in logic there.

There's no problem.

Re: A New Financial Saviour?

It obviously has some kind of knock on to us as our major sponsors. The terms of the sponsorship deal wouldn't change I'd suppose but I guess there's every possibility of them supporting other projects that requires financial support. Lets see. Or reviewing the entire deal and pulling the plug tota...

Re: Which Lions might get near the All Blacks 1st XV ??

Very few non All Blacks would get in a World XV to be fair. I'm not sure this is a fair slight on the Lions. The All Blacks just are that good. For those that have never been to New Zealand, the obsession with rugby is like you wouldn't believe. We just don't have that culture - it naturally creates...

If I click on a thread with 'Unread Posts', does it automatically take me to the first post made since I last visited the thread i.e the earliest of the posts I've not yet read? If it does - good but I must be clicking on something by mistake. If it doesn't - ooops. It does if you click on the icon...
