Mauger is not overrated. He is severely underrated by this forum. We're just not using him right. The flat crash ball that he is being served means that he is about as effective as I would be at 12 at the moment. Agree compeltly-the guy has barley plaed this year and for a player of his type with s...

Humm, I donm't rate Banahan, just a big :censored: wuth no pace or real skill. Good hands though. TV should salughter him.

That said, a lot of the players, South African especially are not happy at all with the laws. Although the ARFU want them introduced as soon as possible. Overall I share westy's lack of great concern over the ELV's. The latter point is, however, adequate reason for opposing them! Agreed, the new ru...

I saw the video of that one, he was actually breaking it up and got sent off for some bizarre reason.

Mauger needs gametime-he has barley played this season and needs as many games as possable comign back from injury to find his touch. Plus we don't have a decent backup 12 so he really is key. Ovall a makshift team, no really bad players but as a whole they don't look convincing against a trong bast...

Theres 2 sets of ELVs current coming the in. Theres a full set which was trialed in SA's junior competions (and i think the Currie Cup later this year) and which are extreamly radical, allowing you to legally collapse the maul, hands in rucks ect. Theres a more refined set which are bieng trialed in...

I'm not sure if Wales can support 4 teams of that size mate-you arn't really filling your ground week in week out anyhow. The Magners teams are basically gaurenteed HC qualification and thus theres no real point to them playing in the league if they arn't going to win-there players always seem far f...

Re: NOT FIT

Mauger should not have had to play yesterday and probably needs the rest of the season to recover. When he is fit, as he was when we played Gloucester at Kingholm - I was there - he was brill... Yep, and against Quins where TV got 3 tries. Oddly Varndell and Goode got the paudits but MAuger was orc...

Good greif, talk about overeaction! Mauger did not play well yesterday but he is barley fit adn hasn't played for quite a while. more than that he isn't getting any ball to play with in attack and with service as slow as ellis's yesterday and goodes indecision he gets very lttle time to work. Thats exactly what he said-Lewsey runs the wrong line for a 15. ghes right of course-but theres more to 15 than running lines.

Re: Christophe Laussucq - waste of space

I know the Irish game was pretty appalling, and I know no half back wants to play behind a pack going backwards, but my good god what was Laussucq playing at? Yes, he can pass, but aside from that he is embarrassingly one dimensional. He looks old, slow and palpably unfit to play at this level. Wha...
