It's halfway through the Italy / Ireland game and if England play like they did yesterday (but cutting out the penalties) and Ireland continue like they've played in first half today - then it should be England's game.
There you are - a bit of encouragement for a change!

Re: Eng vs Wales: Ref & Beeb Commentary Team
I'm surprised that yesterday's ref is being regarded as myopic and biased by so many English fans - does this mean all the other refs who have put England top of the penalty (cheating) table are equally biased? Does this also mean there is some sort of conspiracy against England - particularly when ...

Re: So proud of the boys
'Unlucky to lose?' - luck goes out of the window when a team wins the number of tests that Wales have won - in a row. Even when Wales had an off day like today they still managed to win - and to blame the ref is daft - England have one of the worse penalty records in international rugby - and today ...

Re: Observations
It wasn't really the Osprey's strongest team either without 2 of their best players Byrne and Jon Thomas still injured, plus about 5 others also on the sick list. I think the difference between the sides was that the Tigers played above the sum of the individuals who turn out for them, whereas the O...

Re: Observations
Yeah - got to give the Tigers credit when it's due - whatever it's called, they (and Munster) have got the 'moxy' to win the big games. Unfortunately for both of them, this year the Blues stand in their way!

Sorry to burst your balloon - neither Ospreys or Tigers looked like Heineken Cup winners today.

The worse aspect of that game was watching an England 8 getting shoved off the ball by the Blacks - the same thing happened to Wales last week. That always used to be the one part of the game in which we (the 6 nations teams) had superiority over the Southern teams. The Lions need England, Wales etc...

Dan Carter was England's best friend!!
Forget all the moaning about the referee etc - we have to face the fact that individually the England team are just not up to international standard. I think the problem has been made worse by the excessive number of foreign players in the Guiness Premiership. This has to be addressed before we see ...

How many English sides will get through to EDF semis?
It's getting to look unlikely that many of the 'cream' of the premiership will make the EDF semis! The excuse that the English sides have been fielding weaker teams no longer holds water, since the Blues put out a 'B' team against Bath tonight.
