Re: Quins game - Teams Up!!
I have just checked our try stats, only Welsh and Irish have scored fewer this season. This is a worrying statistic.

I would be delighted to be wrong. But Quins (just scored 4th try) are giving us a lesson in a number of areas...RagingBull wrote:Load of clap trap.markharbtiger wrote:This is terrible. Unless there is an amazing last 8 mins, this tells me our team aren't top four this year.

Re: Quins game - Teams Up!!
This is terrible. Unless there is an amazing last 8 mins, this tells me our team aren't top four this year. The table at the end of the season should be the only judge of that. It's tight in the table, doubt this will decide it. Granted. Just disappointed at who we are losing to. Quins aren't exact...

PS - might need to work on the passing. Without the forward passes you probably would have won. .
What about the missed kicks and dropped balls?

Re: Teams Up v Bath
Congrats to the team for a great performance.
I was anxious about the absence of Cole but needn't have been. If only Tom Y. hadn't mucked up those two line out throws, the score would have been higher.

Thought it was only Tigers who blamed the ref?Downbathway wrote:Well done Leicester.
That's your Cup Final won for the season
You were assisted just a little by a Referee who was completely out of his depth sadly.

No Cole is surprising. Anyone know why? Don't recall having seen or heard about an injury. In training maybe? Was hoping to see Croft also, but know he was injured. Loamanu doesn't even make the bench which is a shame.Soggypitch wrote:No Dan Cole??!!!!

Re: Hartley gone again!
Actually I was happy with the red card - it wasn't his fault we lost! The guy is a complete wassock on the pitch, but you have to remember we had our own 'wind him up' merchant in Julian, although he was far more 'gentleman Jules' in his approach to dealing with miscreants. Off the park Hartley has...

Re: Hartley gone again!
Three weeks hardly sends the message 'don't do that again'. I worry for England in the World Cup.

Re: Hartley gone again!
The thing that irritates me is that there seems to be a distinct view from the Gardens, that we (tigers) somehow seem to either have dirtier players or seek to provoke Saints in our games with them to obtain some sort of card from the ref. I think reminding the stray Saints supporter on here of the ...

Re: Is Orange a good colour for our kit?
Personally I think it is one of the most ridiculous shirt colours I have seen. Sadly I can't remember the article details, but I read something years ago on how dark shirts - particularly black shirts - seemed to give teams wearing them an advantage (possibly only psychological) in sport. It was a s...

Re: Hartley gone again!
Some of the comments here are pretty embarrassing TBH. They are so embarrassingly negative I thought I'd gone on the London Welsh site. People think a 14 men Saints @ HOME would be a walk over. They are top having just played against Treviso. We are fighting with form and have just played to huge g...

Re: Hartley gone again!
Embarrassing. If we haven't got fit centres how about recruiting some instead of collecting locks. Maybe because we would have no idea how to coach them. I think that is going a bit far. This was a long way from the shambles against Bath (which was). Yes there are areas of weakness, and we are a bi...
