Me too.
When Terry Butcher went from Ipswich to Rangers in Scotland his wife complained about how they called cuts of meat different names in Glasgow.
Obviously queue Scotland gags.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls
Hi Everyone It was me who mentioned Marler's family living somewhere south of London. He has shown in the past that family is important to him, such as when he has withdrawn from a couple of international squads. He has also talked about his mental health. Respect to that. Having moved from "go...

Doesn't Marler live on the south coast and basically does what Mrs Marler tells him to?
Kids in school or very near, he isn't moving north in my opinion.

Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021
With Dolly do we have a similar situation to that which happened with Jake Kerr. Good player who got capped in a crisis for Scotland, then he fell out of favour and down the pecking order? As nobody knows the situation with Tom Youngs, but assuming his involvement going forward is going to as an occ...

Change of scenery
Everyone seems to presume he is going to Sale.
Plenty of people work in one place and live in another. I would be surprised to seem him playing in Paris or Toulon or Toulouse.
But with his family still based in the north west.

Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021
Absolutely, or as close to the end as possible. I think for a lot of people, it is the extra things like being able to go to the bar, banter with the opposite fans, etc that is the appeal over sitting at home (which is normally much clearer and better to understand with the commentary and ref mike,...

Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021
I went to the England game and thoroughly enjoyed the match. All the Tigers players were excellent. I thought George Furbank played really well, given his minimal preparation and lack of experience in the FH position. Obviously I would have preferred George Ford to be playing. On another point I was...

Re: Developments in NZ
I've certainly read about weight categories in youth rugby in NZ. Some of the Islander children and Maoris develop quicker than others. Many kids in NZ being put off playing as a 12 year old doesn't want to be hit by someone the size of a 16 year old. On the weight issue when I played my weight was ...
