Re: A new defence coach?

Mike Ford is a proven world-class defence coach, who I would replace him?? He has had precious little time to make an impact on the team, regardless of the team selection carousel that has been forced on the club by the congested schedule. I felt a Little bit bit sick after watching the game yesterd...

Re: Midweek Game - Wed 09 Sep Away to Wasps

I applaud those folks who think that that after 5 season of terminal decline, finishing 11th last season and now only saved from relegation by Saracens transgressions, that Tigers still need somehow need to continue to learn from mistakes and defeats :smt017 Its as if upto now we have not been maki...

Re: Midweek Game - Wed 09 Sep Away to Wasps

I always thought that the 0-45 capitulation against Bath a few years back would be the worst game I’d ever see Tigers play. That was a dark day but it was unexpected and although the team was already in decline back then, the rest of that season almost seems like golden days compared to Murphy’s rei...

Re: Leicester Tigers Ultras - Matt To'omua

Matt To’omua is an incredibly likeable chap and is undoubtedly a class rugby player. Some people love him and think he was great here and other people think he was a flop. I tend to lean towards the latter, despite wanting to believe otherwise. He was absolutely fantastic for a few games but if you ...

Re: New Kit

I had no idea there was anything wrong with Umbro, how long has this been a thing? Is it simply the view of materialistic snobs with nothing else of consequence to occupy their time or is it the quality of Umbro kit suddenly terrible?

Re: Six Nations to go to Sky

If it does go behind a paywall they've lost me as a spectator. It was all good when I could justify going to the pub to watch the game at the weekend but I travel a lot for work and now I have young children I struggle to justify being away from them for every game during the 6N. Everyone has differ...

Re: GROUNDS

I like Perth Oval (now HBF Park), I watched Western Force's last home game of the season there against Queensland Reds in 2011. The bar service must have been good because I was trousered by the time we left and we were allowed to go onto the pitch at the end of the ground. I had a great time chatti...

Doesn't seem that many.
unless you play the U19/U18.
I've only just seen the team, happy with that to be honest. I hope Hardwick gets a decent run-out along with Wells.

Re: Tigers vs Bath

My understanding is that the leaving players were asked as a group to say if they didn't want to play this week, so any leaving player selected is there because he wants to be and should be applauded for that. Many players are carrying injury and not available for selection others maybe could have ...

Re: Thoughts & conclusions on the season.

The team are playing badly - the wedding didn't affect that But that is the debate.... it's not personal against the couple getting married just as it's not personal about the players. Somebody wants to pay a few grand to get married on the pitch at half term, kerching. What next? I know let's have...

Re: Tigers vs Bath

It's funny that people complain when Murphy says he will play the players that are leaving, but then also complain that Toomua got released early so won't be playing the last game... I think it was very sensible to let Toomua leave early, I image that some financial compensation would have been sou...

Re: Thoughts & conclusions on the season.

For those moaning about that wedding at half time, the newlyweds obviously share a passion for the club and are fellow fans. Its not really fair to them to keep banging on about their wedding not being to your tastes and it having a negative impact on the club - it makes those moaning seem like mard...

Re: Tigers vs Bath

There is nothing to play for in terms of play-offs or champions cup qualification and Tigers are safe from relegation so in that sense the season is all but over, however I'm in agreement with those that believe this game matters greatly because: - The opposition are Bath - It's the last game in Tig...
