Re: Fijian winger on his way??

I feel that Scott's performances this season are but a mere shadow of his past superb form.[

Agreed. Although I sense an improvement recently.

Re: Saints in final.

I seem to recall that in its previous incarnation as the EDF Energy Cup it paid more prize money than winning the Heineken Cup. I'm not sure whether this remains the case with the current sponsors.

Re: Same again for England

The midfield problem has just shifted back 1 place along the backline. Under Johnno they had Hape and Tindall so the scrum half / fly half had to bypass midfield to get it to the wings. Now we have Farrell and Barritt. Equally uncreative, so they have to be bypassed to get the wings in to play. Some...

Re: Mafi vs Croft

A clear opportunity and case for a rotation policy. Mafi has come on tremendously and Croft is world class. The way the squad is shaping up Tigers have several opportunities to instigate a worthwhile rotation policy. We already see Castro and Cole rotated how about these few suggestions: Flood / For...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester

Gloucester were fortunate to only concede 5 tries. We butchered 2 or 3 fairly straightforward chances in the first half and could have been out of sight by half time.

Re: Injury latest

It would appear that Tigers are not alone in this. I recently visited the websites of 3 well established premiership clubs and found only 1 story relating to player injuries and that covered an injury that occured last weekend. There were no injury updates either in the current news stories or those...

Re: Aguilla

Fair point about squad size Bertos. However I worked it out as follows: Known or thought to be leaving / retiring: Alex Robinson Grindal Staunton White Twelvetrees Tonks Skivington Agulla Known or thought to be arriving: Bowden Benjamin Thompstone Mulipola Less out than in. Therefore smaller squad s...

Look they are a good side and if we don't match them physically or are inaccurate we will lose.

Re: Ford V Gloucester...Yes or No?

Flood should start with Ford on bench or rested for 2 reasons: 1. Flood needs game time to rediscover confidence and form. If he redsicovers these and is in better shape after 6 Nations then we would have an in form Flood and an in form Ford available for the run in. Ford can develop while Flood is ...

Re: Aguilla

he would be a luxury. I'm not so sure he would be. Alex is going to Japan - replacement Benjamin Robinson is leaving - replacement Thompstone Bowden covers fly half and inside centre so not relevant to the debate. We already have Bubbles, Morris, Geordan, Tait, Smith and Agulla plus the youngsters ...
