Re: Tigers vs Falcons - 28th March 2021 at 15:00

Dean R stating "Seeds were planted" Yeah Sour grape variety Deanno. If one thing stood out it was, we (Tigers) ,adjusted better to the Officiating Triumvirate (muppets). Something missing for a few seasons. If Deanno had said the officiating overall was poor, then we could all sympathise....

Re: Finn Russel red card

Old habits die hard. We've had years of tight fit shirts with very little grab effect. Therefore we have adapted to tackle high and hopefully dislodge ball. We have all been taught to tackle the legs at school level. Then we get to club level and taught one to tackle high the other tackle low to bri...

Re: Tigers vs Falcons - 28th March 2021 at 15:00

Please NO silly penalties and definitely NO red cards. Then I think we should do a job on Falcons. A "BPW" would be very nice but I'd like a W and starve Falcons of a "LBP". I know we are on a path, but the way we have been showing up of late deserves some reward. Beers in the fr...

Re: Sat 20th March - Exeter away

Needs to be a 90min game not 80. Chiefs are only playing for the last 15 - 20 mins of each game and getting out of jail. This is either because teams are thinking the game is done, or their intensity builds. Not the Chiefs we know from last 2-3 seasons. Neither are we. Cut down on penalties , don't ...

Silverware could be reachable IF and only if we respect the challenge.

Re: South African Tigers

Don't forget , if the target is to get this club back to the top, then we will have to contend with International call ups, Challenging in the Prem and in Europe. Then there will inevitably be injuries and suspensions. There will be more than enough scope for our youngsters to progress . I think the...

Re: Gloucester away Sat 13th March

Time to get an away win. Strongest team available and same intensity as we've shown recently will do nicely. Top 6 could be looming. Am I really saying that on the back of the last two seasons rooted to the basement. Oh and I need bragging rights as 6 of my closest neighbours and friends are Cherry ...

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

More positives than negatives. The graph of improvement is in an upwards direction. The depth of squad is a major positive with a great mix of senior and academy converts. They are now gelling into a team rather than individuals. I cannot fault the intensity and aggression for the fight ,something t...

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

I'm looking forwards to this one. LI are a dangerous team that can beat anyone on a given day. I'm glad to see we are picking a team that will be able to challenge. Likewise as others have posted, I hope we can do a job. Get a W and hopefully a BP. Need to keep our penalty count down Bring it on :sm...

Re: Has Rugby Got a Fan Problem?

Possibly the question ought to be "Do we have a problem with Social Media"
Fans are a cross section of society and as we know the minority always spoil it for the silent majority.

Re: Has Rugby Got a Refereeing Problem?

Let the Sirs referee the game according to the rules. Each season we start with directives from on high about how interpretation of various rules can improve the game (invariably doesn't) only to be shelved half way into the season, and the blatantly obvious infringements are treated as an acceptabl...
