Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests - Latest: Andrea Pinchen
The term professional would imply that they do it as a job for a financial reward. It was a well put together podcast by two knowledgable rugby fans and Andrea Pinchen answered the questions that were put to her, without breaking any confidences. I did not intend to imply they got financial reward ...

Please , mark my words on this, and I have said this prior....
Will not not break a confidence but Centre position (s) is resolved X2....(thus far,at least)

Re: Saudi Arabia in talks to buy stake in Tigers
Brutal here , but 'professional' in Sport tends to equate to money.Saudia are simply trying to buy respectability; personally not keen, but in essence, can take a bribe as well as anyone else if it ensures The Clubs future.Much to pass though first, hope this is not the case for anyone, any club, but ...

Re: Freddie Steward
Its apparant that Freddie is losing ground to the ultra quick No15 speedsters such as Josh Hodge, George Furbank and Joe Carpenter, and could easily fall by the wayside. Would this not be the time to convert him into a Centre, and with some Margot Wells type sprint training, morph into a very dange...

Strongly believe that when the situation becomes clear and obstruction free Dan McKellar has his own man in mind..

Just glad we managed to squeeze out a win. Maybe we can come good on the home straight after a few weeks rnr. I always like Mike Brown but now he's in a Tigers shirt I'm loving it. Even better than the Ashton gig. 100% how we won was irrelevant last night The fact we won was the most important and ...

A win is a win - great result away from home.
Only spoilt by the journey back on the M1.....That Motorway, and what gives on there, is a serious pain in the butt.....

Re: Alan Dickens - Tigers lack of attack coach.
The same defensive strategy that kept what could have been the Irish side to 3 tries in normal time Please look at the season as a whole ,my friend. In open play there is a decided vulnerability. An unsettled Centre pairing does not help but non the less... different eyes see different things. Not s...

Re: Alan Dickens - Tigers lack of attack coach.
Whilst the lack of an attack coach in situ has (rightly) raised questions , personally I believe it has deflected questions away from our defensive strategy - especially in open play. Stopping points is just as important as scoring them. The same defensive strategy that kept what could have been th...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
..very , very interesting to see who Sarries bring in. A brilliantly coached and well drilled side over recent seasons (finance aside) and Farrell was instrumental amongst this. Everything goes in cycles and though I would not bet against them next season the playing field is becoming more and more ...

Not the best result on sat ,but had a good time with some Leinster fans...very knowledgeable, very polite.
Not into the team - too many inbuilt advantages -
but the travelling support are great (in my experience)..
Now to Quinn's..vital to get something .League ,bread and butter....

Re: Tigers v La Rochelle (A) - Champions Cup - Sunday 14th January 2024 - KO - 3-15pm
We lost to twice over Euro Champs who proved physically and are financially more powerful. The manner of defeat was disconcerting - but who was expecting to go there and Win ? Questions , justifiable ? Yep Concerns/Issues ? Yep But I still say its not a reason for suicide nor the end of the world.. ...
