Re: Pumas invited to join Tri-Nations in 2012

About time too. An interesting challenge to get all their players available though.

How will the Aussies feel when they finish fourth every year?

Austin as game show host

Now we know for sure that he was a genius (or at least extremely useful, or distinctly average for Mr Budster) on the pitch, what are people thinking of his new incarnation as game show host on The Fuse? Personally - I think it seems to suit his wit and ability to banter, taking as well as giving th...

Re: Ice Creams

I like the way that Vienettas are a perfect one person portion. Not so classy, but yumyum.

Going back to the original post... Bradgate Park, that takes me back, used to go there with my grandad when I was little.

Hadn't even realised he was here. Seems like his biggest impact on the English rugby psyche was leaving. Maybe we weren't respectful enough of his enormous talents.

Re: Bourgoin demand Euro final change

Hmmm, this wasn't seen as a problem by ERC when we were set to play Stade in Paris, at a ground a stone's throw from their own, in the 2001 HC final Didn't stop us though, eh? I think I remember Oz saying after the game that it made the victory even sweeter. On the plus side, it's nice to see Bourgo...

Re: The stupidest plum. Barnes? Or Greenwood?

Bit of unfair quote selection there given that the article is titled 'Kiwi duo give rivals polish' and is singing the praises of Hamilton and Bath-man Maddock. Do we expect everything Tigerswise in the meeja to refer to bronzed love-godness as well as on pitch excellence? Personally, I like Greenwoo...

Re: Geordan Murphy set to break new 6N record...

Just to be pedantic (or maybe a bit dim) Re: Geordan Murphy set to break new 6N record... Would he be breaking a record, and if so who holds it now? Or is he just making a new record? Surely he couldn't break a record if it's a new one he's setting? (we all know he's good and full of tricks, but may...

Re: Cry Huzzah for England .....

Good luck to all Tigers braving the frozen extremetries of SE England tomorrow. Those who were at Twickers for the Quins game over Xmas will know to wrap up good and warm. Maybe bump into some of you in the Cabbage Patch before the game (I'm a Tiger that favours the 90's stripes).

Re: shd txtspk b ok on frm

Isn't life full of spooky conicidences*? The word-a-day website (as recommended by Michael Rosen of the excellent Word of Mouth programme on Radio 4), has 'acronym' as today's word. While acknowledging the difference between true acronyms and initialisms, it concludes with the following; 'I’ll worry...

Re: Croft and Crane

Interesting logic that Crane will prove he is worth more by not being in the EPS. You'd normally expect those in the EPS to command a premium. Would be interesting to know how that whole scenario works out with the clubs getting cash back from the RFU, so they would (maybe) cost less to the club. Fa...

Re: Quins game

Could be a lot of fun involved getting to and from the game. I hear that there's lots of disruption around Clapham, so best to check and plan some alternative routes if your journey involves getting through there.
