Re: Lets use the Aironi game to prepare for 6nations period
Tigers can still finish second if they get a bonus poin win and if Claremont get nothing from their game with Ulster.

Re: Lets use the Aironi game to prepare for 6nations period
Give the youngsters a chance against Airioni and stick with them throughout the Amlin tournament. It is a trophy that is winnable and ensures HC next year. So there is still something to play for on Saturday. Lets hope fans turn out in numbers. Same applies to LDV. Winning premiershipis still possib...

Why not capitalise on Clive Woodward's experience?

Re: Lets use the Aironi game to prepare for 6nations period
Quins won tonight so there is realistically only one runners-up spot Tigers could fill, but the chances of results going their way are so remote that we need to accept the HC campaign is over. The aim must be a top 6 finish to qualify for next year's HC.

An unfortunate aspect of professional sport is that it is a job, not a passion.

Re: Is it time to thank Cockers for his efforts? - Part 2
Hang on......in the last five years (seasons) we saw Tigers at 5 Premiership Finals (winning 2)and a european final. That's the best record in the premiership. OK, not as good as the Deano era when Tigers won the HC back to back and 4 consecutive championships, but a club cannot win all the time. Ev...

Re: Tigers v Ulster - Friday 13th
There is no point in blaming the referee. Tigers were beaten by a better team. Credit to Ulster and good luck to them. The quality of the premiership is not as good it's cracked up to be. Most games are attritional and based on power-play rather than skill. It's why there are so many injuries. Only ...

Re: Tigers v Ulster - Friday 13th
Oh dear. That was the worst Tiger's performance since they last lost at Ravenhill. Plenty of commitment but a lack of class, quality and inability to to prevent giving away kickable penalties. Let's hope it doesn't affect their form in the Premiership. Very sad.

I'd be glad to see the end of MPs representing constituencies in Scotland having any influence in The House of Commons.

Re: Ben Youngs
If it happened in a bar, it may well have been in the `1880' corporate bar where players sometimes go post-match, so it should be easy for the club to identify - and hopefully ban - the culprit.

Re: Is there any point in UK being in the EU?
Dear Kinoulton I enjoy your posts, but you have made an error when you say "all europeans" are happy for the UK to do the fighting in Afghanistan. It's not something that is reported in the media here, but Poland has a sizeable contingent in Afghanistan and they have suffered fatal casualt...

I agree with fogba........it'd be good to hear or see scores from other games at half time and full time.

It's interesting that we can be forgiving about rugby players getting into scrapes. If it had been Rooney how would we have reacted?
