Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3
Williams has looked a bit more "at it" when playing 2nd row, like Fitzgerald,Wells & Lewis he is a 4 who can play 6. The fact it took so long to play him there is indicative of the wooly thinking of recent seasons. I agree I think he played the best he had for a long time at the start...

Re: Autumn Internationals
So what do people reckon England’s injury free 23 is now? I’d go for: Vunipola Hartley Sinckler Itoje Kruis Shields Underhill Vunipola Youngs Farrell Te’o Joseph Daly May Watson George, Genge, Cole, Lawes, Wilson, Robson, Ford, Tuilagi I’d probably go something like Vunipola George Sinckler Itoje L...

Re: Cips ban
Have you seen this article on Lozowski? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2018/10/25/alex-lozowski-appeals-against-suspension-bid-face-south-africa/ Again it is almost unbelievable what is going on in presently in hearings and with punishments.... Back to Cips again however, if Lozowsli is be...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19
Courtney Lawes has re-signed for northampton until 2021, shame I was hoping all the talk of Etzebeth, was a smoke screen so we could put in an offer to Lawes to bring him up the m1.

Re: Tigers International call ups
I'd expect to lose May, Ford and Ben Youngs to England duty. I'd be surprised if he doesn't call up Dan Cole with a lack of experience available to the front row. That being said, due to injuries I wouldn't be surprised if Williams, O'Connor or Thomson get a look in for the back row. Can’t see us l...

Re: Holmes called up for Wales
Congrats and good luck to him, a player I feel was wasted last year under O’Connor In the a-league, but it does worry me that it will not only leave use short during the autumn internationals, and also make it even harder to keep him at the end of the season as in order to keep his place for Wales h...

Re: How to Keep Manu at Tigers
Really hard to know what to do with Manu at the moment. Might depend on whether his England career gets back on track. Completely agree weather we keep Manu or not will depend on if he makes the World Cup squad, which I think will be between him and teo for the ball carrying centre. If he doesn’t m...

Polota-Nau has been withdrawn from the Australian team due to a hamstring injury, I wonder if that means we’ll get him back or if it’s not to bad they’ll keep him out there.
