Re: American Investors for Tigers?

Obviously a glass half empty man. If you think that the rugby fraternity is full of selfish self serving people suggest you are mixing with the wrong crowd. The fact that you think of a rugby as a "fraternity" tells me everything I need to know. Did you know that women are allowed to play...

Re: EUROPEAN SEMI FINALS

Feel desperately sad for Bruce Craig. In spite of his millions and close friendship with Nigel Wray, it seems that for him money doesn't guarantee success.

I await tomorrow's Sundays' and even at this late stage the predictable pleading from assorted journos arguing how Cips' simply must go with the Lions. Yawn.

Re: Progress Under Borthwick

I take it the jury is no longer out? Last night was a game of two halves or, to put it another way, a 40 minute performance. Things have improved for sure, but I don't think anyone was sincerely doubting that at any point this season, but a bit too soon to say the just is entirely out. I'll stick t...

Re: SAINTS AT HOME 24TH APRIL 2021

My outlook on games has somewhat changed over recent months. Of course I look forward to a win but during this time of real transition I genuinely look forward to seeing the long term improvement strategy in what we are about as a club become visible in our performance ie how we play, how we suppor...

Re: EUROPEAN SEMI FINALS

Why may we not assume that M. Gauzere has learned and progressed as we expect players to? I'm sure we will speak to him about his expectations and, I hope, play him out of the game. Remember - they only referee when you are doing it wrong. 'Remember - they only referee when you are doing it wrong.'...

Re: Ringfencing NOW upon us ?

The ring-fencings of the European Super League and the Gallagher Prem come from different places. For the ESL it's about growth: securing extremely lucrative TV deals and guaranteeing that income every year. For the GP it's about survival: stabilising financially as costs have risen, income has all...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April

I read in Travellers post that in January 20/20 we were unfit, couldn't win a line out etc etc. In fact a look at results will show that pre pandemic we were actually on the way to recovery, a 30- 30 draw with Quins, defeating Bristol 31-18, Cardiff 30- 20, a losing bonus point away to Pau, a loss ...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April

You look at the Bath team and wonder how on earth they’re not higher up the league. If we win this one, I think we can fairly say we’ve progressed further and quicker than we could have realistically hoped. Last 2 seasons we’d have lost by 40 and the match would have been dead inside 30 minutes. So...

Agreed. But to be fair just about ever team would miss Montoya, and many Liebenberg.
