Re: TMO at scrum time
Unless it's a dominant scrum it has to be hooked by the side feeding to get to the back, unless you're Dickson who hit's the No 8 every time, no hooking required!!

Re: Ford to Toulon
"It is understood the 50-year-old will be responsible for shaping the team's attack, defence and overall gameplan."
Which will be plan A, and if I were Toulon i'd ask to see Plan B before employing him!

Re: TMO at scrum time
Go back to insisting the ball is put in straight, thereby necessitating that the ball will be hooked, thereby necessitating that the ball will be cleaner and quicker, thereby necessitating that the over reliance on grunt and dark arts is less important in the scrum. The knock on effects of this to ...

Re: Possible citing for Ashton!
I think you'll find that there was a lot of criticism for Manu at the time. There certainly was from me. He could have got himself sent off and cost us the game in the Semi Final and ultimately we missed his presence in the Final. But he did get sent-off (for 10 minutes) - did you mean straight red...

Re: Facebook Competition
I've seen a number of competitions on other sites which require would-be entrants to 'Like' something or on Facebook. Precisely that MJB, social media is a platform to get instantly to a wider audience by self awareness, ie all those followers that 'like' a post will let their FB friends know about...

Re: Should it have been a penalty try and a yellow card?
Tom Youngs's head came up both times NOT a penalty offence! Dayglo, Bayfield and Goode also said it was a penalty offence, it is not! Any front row player can pop up, and provided it is not dangerous (just a reset if it looks unstable, if he was driven up by his oppo, or he was trying to drive his ...

Re: Should they be in trouble or not?
I doubt you get it at all Roly, Sarries are only singled out because Doyle made a remark that opens up an interesting debate, that is all. As for the actual issue about standing on top of opposition players who are still on the ground and celebrating, where's the respect and integrity? There is a pl...

Re: Just a hint of....a forward pass?
but are you off side if the part of the body which is in contact with the ground is level or behind? You're offside if any part of your body head to toe is in front of the offside line. Micro-analysing via TV replays to see whether a head or arm was in front is unfortunately getting more like footb...

Pasqualle played at Doncaster RLFC before heading out to NZ to play for the Maori All Blacks. One of his younger brothers (Andre) is still in the Tigers Academy. His family are still based in Norfolk and his dad (Reg) is a great character!!
