Re: English clubs cannot compete - Richard Cockerill
Against Wasps the backs moves were out of the U12s playbook. We haven't got decent backs coaching. It shows.

Re: This is not Soccer
This has gone hand in hand with numbers disappearing off the back of players (e.g. Hartley in at least three matches this season). Nothing wrong with 'Captain', 'No7 you did not roll away) and so on. This is the big upset I have with Lee Dickson - his abuse and 'gamesmanship' is appalling, with obsc...

Re: English clubs cannot compete - Richard Cockerill
The reasons for the disparities have been well -rehearsed. (I do not include Saffacens in this since there is something manifestly odd about their financing). AP teams do not have the French cash or the ProD12 closed league, with their concomitant advantages. The Welsh are rapidly following on our h...

Re: Bashing tigers time again!
I was surprised not to see a nasty report. To be honest no-one is that interested in Tigers any more since the Saffas love-fest kicked in with the ludicrous England selections. We are very nuch yesterday's team, and unfortunately an element of that is valid.

There has been a thread running a while about kicking away possession. There has been a thread running for two years about backs coaching.

kpbates, my post was not specifically aimed at you who, as you say, noted our problems, but at those who don't want to see them, and view any critical comments as victimisation. Apologies for not being clear. I don't often agree with you, but this is the exception. I hate being labelled as a non-su...

Re: Is it time to thank Cockers for his efforts? - Part 2
A wise post, Sapajo I did not think that RC should go. I still think - as I have done for nearly two seasons - that MOC just isn't good enough. RC needs people who are competent. In my cups last night I even shuddered at the thought of RC resigning and MOC remaining. :smt009 But this is the beginnin...

Re: Tigers v Ulster - Friday 13th
Hello from a nay-sayer. This has been coming from a long way back and I'm afraid several of us nay-sayers have been slagged for nay-saying it. MOC should be sacked NOW. Cockers position is clearly at risk, but it may be with a good backs coach and a defence coach (blimey both Mick Ford and Dave Elli...

Don't be stupid, what with the London-centric media, got to be Farrell
Personally I'd go for Robshaw, who I think is excellent and has the warrior spirit.

The same JD sports who need to look at Cotswold Outdoors on how to run outdoor shops, not like the lamentable Blacks or Millets. Those of us who have wished for better than CT may get 'different', but not necessarily better!

Re: Outsoursing of services
I assume the franchisees are guaranteeing the club a fixed amount plus a % of profits? The problem with this outsourcing business model is that when contract renewal is up the future fixed amount is normally adjusted iaw profit received. More often than not the contract is not renewed because the c...

Re: Does ITV have a London bias, or what?
Is the censor banning the term F.....A.... because it stands for something or because it has an association with football? :smt001 It appears the filter does not like the diminutive form of Frances or something resembling a fan. So are all things of beauty (Frances or diminutive) excised from this ...

Re: If you can't wait for the EPS, here it is
I can't see how having a Saffas 10, 12 and 13 combo is going to break down an international defence My fears as well. Hodgson is a probably Floods equal when it comes to his passing game, but Barrit t and Farrell have about as much creative spark as Julian White. Excuse me but don't diss the great ...
