Re: The Ricoh - the Good bits and Bad bits
Judging by what I heard on the TV, the noisier one!
Yes, the PA man was an irritation, as were the drummers, but looked like a reasonable ground.

Re: Tigers need a new surface
It appeared on Saturday that there is grass growing again in parts of the patch. I remember about 12 or so years ago when they put the new drainage in the pitch that they got all of that bedded in, new topsoil and grass seeded and lush in good tine for the start of the next season, so there is no re...

Re: Tigers need a new surface
I do wonder if the club could get some sort of compensation from the company that caused the pitch issue after that concert last summer. That could at least part fund a new pitch. However, either Cockers or Simon Cohen said at the forum the other week that there was a very small window where a commi...

Re: Sale game - Teams up!!
It occurred to me that the ref had decided before the start to penalise the team kicking towards the WR end and let the team playing towards the clubhouse off with quite a lot. At the start of the second half we couldn't put a foot right with the ref. Garner has a habit of whistling against one tea...

Re: Redevelopment of new club house end stand
Given that the temporary seating is removed at the end of every season anyway (I believe it holidays in Henley) I think the company have got it down to such a fine art it would only take a weekend to remove it.

Re: Record or CD
Mine was 'She Loves You'
As far as I can recall, my first CD was Greig's Holberg Suite & Sibelius Finlandia. Mahler's 1st Symphony was not long behind it. Gray - have I found a Mahler soul mate?

Wouldn't the fact that City are at home to Hull on the Saturday have something to do with it?sapajo wrote:Sarries and Saints get the Saturday kick off, so the winner of that semi will have 24 hours longer to buy up the final tickets

Wow.
We had one of those visiting zoos at work a few years ago, and I handled a snake then - actually quite a pleasant experience. Certainly more so than DH

Re: Redevelopment of new club house end stand
I am pretty sure the clubhouse is not listed, although I am sure someone will correct me on that. The number of toilets in the ground overall is a concern - the Goldsmiths is difficult, I think for both genders, judging by the queues! Am also looking forward to this development, and the speed at whi...

Trying valiantly to get off the PPE route with this thread, how long did anybody stay with the Rugby Club programme on Monday? We lasted until the first advert break - talk about inane!
