Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

It's all well and good having power if you have a limited game plan with very little intention to offload or have other ball carriers to share the load. In recent seasons we've basically had Genge and Manu who were the threats. You can shut them down easily enough because there was very little offlo...

Re: TV Coverage

I've just seen that Sky are showing all bar one of the super league matches next weekend.

With the reach of Super League being very minor you'd hope that BT would be able to do something similar or better for union.

TV Coverage

I may have missed it, but does anyone know what the TV proposal is from BT when we kick off for the remainder of this season? Will all games be viewable via different chsnnels/red buttoms or is it the normal couple of live games and highlights for the rest?

Interesting proposal. Seems a good idea on the surface of it.

For the benefit of members I have used RB’s new senior squad intake and listed as to when they have arrived or due to arrived as this is more confusing than normal due to Covid. Zack Henry (Arrived) Shalva Mamukashvili (Still seeking visa as far as I’m aware) Nemani Nadolo (Arrived) Cyle Brink (Arr...

Not straight away then........
I think he'll land with us in October, which isn't too bad really.

Re: Manu Tuilagi

From reading Manu's love letter to the club and fans that he published the other day I cannot imagine that he would be suing the club as that would be the biggest two faced action ever and that doesn't seem like Manu. I guess what others have written before is accurate - there has been or will be s...

Re: New Kit

I dread kit launch time as every single kit is marmite to each and every fan. There's supporters of a certain age who won't accept anything other than the traditional kit that they saw from the stands in years gone by. Others, if that was the kit, wouldn't like it because it's too boring. The end of...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Episode 3 The revenge of the Contracts.

Huge news re Taufua, he Brink and Liebenberg potentially are the best back tow in the premiership, and gives the groundings for the younger lads to break through. It's almost certainly the most powerful! Yes and I do understand that 7 is probably not his best position, but you have to try and get y...

Great piece of news. Not an extension, but I'd guess we've got him for another two seasons. To me, this is as good as a new signing and is a massive statement of intent from Taufua and the club.
