Re: England squad
SB has boxed himself into a bind of his own choosing by naming Farrel as captain, he is a competent 10 but not an international center, he has no raport with the ref and his kicking has gone awry as well, so the only reason he is a shoe in is because he is captain. Borthwick should bite the bullet a...

It is the new RFU tackle height rule, round the ankles or get sent off! Seriously, there are some posters with a twisted view of the game, if you let the leg go the tackled player is free to carry on, how many times do we hear "not held" from the ref, so you hold on and wait for support to...

Re: Premiership Rugby
Essentially the TMO is always going to be flawed as they can never see everything. The host broadcast shouldn't affect what is seen or not seen. Essentially there's 3 ways to standardise this. 1. remove the TMO, back to onfield 2. No audio from the host broadcast, that does still leave the host bro...

Re: Worcester’s woes
I wonder if this is common practice for the players to be paid by an entity other than the club itself? Premier Rugby and the RFU have dropped the ball, on this and the Wasps situation, splitting the operation into separate entities, one owning the team, one the ground another the training faciliti...

A word on Oscar nominee Dan Biggar, dosed with Novichok one moment, try saving tackle the next, a remarkable performance on both counts! He certainly seemed incredulous that it could have been a perfectly legal tackle. Welsh team mate Reffell that stuffed him good and proper. Side note re Biggar, i...

Re: Discrimination against Red Roses.
Is it not the case that the men's team generate money the women's team cost money.
Our local team make their own way or pay for their own bus, a top side has a luxury bus laid on, that is is not discrimination.

Re: George Ford and Handrè Pollard discussions
Agreed, Ford was fantastic for us. Very few flyhalfs look good when on the back foot but Ford managed to be the Prem's top point scorer when he finished above Falcons to avoid relegation. Not someone who couldn't turn it on when things were tough. As for not showing up in big games, well BT must ha...

Re: George Ford and Handrè Pollard discussions
For me Ford had too many off games when it mattered for us and for England, brilliant when it all goes to plan but anonymous when the opposition get in his face, also he was our FH during our worst period as well which rather colours my memory. In pollard we have a proven test match winner, so just...

Re: Worcester’s woes
The RFU should set regulations on the financial stability of all clubs to prevent this type of wide boy asset stripping, or the financial house of cards constructed by Wasps, or even the purchase of shares my shadowy SA holding companies. We have seen it for years in Football now it seems the some r...

That is an interesting point, does anyone know how the financial cake is divided between the clubs, we all like to be in it but what is the cost / reward?

Re: European finals weekend - May 2022
Barnes allowed a cynical Leinster team to play on his weakness for allowing the game to flow, as early as the end of the first half, under penalty advantage on the 5m line Leinster repeatedly came round the side of the ruck, flopping over on the ball, eventually the attack petered out, it should hav...

Re: Simon Cohen
Rugby is a results based business, he was an utter failure on the only metric that matters, under his tenure the club became a laughing stock and paid over the cap into the bargain, some people have no shame!
