Banter RFC is back with a bang, just need Matt O'Connor back to complete the transformation.

Re: Wasps still in the mire

They have already removed Worcester and all their points (and accrued against) from the table, so the same is likely to happen to Wasps.

Bit surprised at Freddie's comments in the post game interview, 'we know what the problem is and its an easy fix' - really? Lets hope so...

That Gopperth penalty at the end there summed up the entire game. Abject.

I just don't understand what the gameplan is here. It's so incoherent from 1-15. Baffling.

Game over 50 minutes in, complete joke. Saracens all over again.

Shocking lineout again, huge gaps in the line, oodles of missed tackles.

Re: Tigers v Sale (H) - Saturday 08th October 2022 - 3-00pm

Gopperth has been poor all season and is making an already fairly limited attack completely inert, no structure at all. Lineout has been unexpectedly poor as well. Scrum looks pretty solid though and discipline is better. Quite a stark difference from the structure an organisation of Ford we had las...

Re: Worrying attendances

Full seats means food and drink (ideally). Drop the price and reap the rewards. I wish that it was that simple. Food and drink is optional and expensive, fans will often meet and eat or drink outside the ground first, see the queues outside the chippy. Also unsure how much the club gets of that rev...

Re: Leicester Tigers' social media is poor

Some of the more recent LTTV clips after the games look quite rushed as well, from this weekend Ben Youngs only has audio on one side, and the Guy Porter one has loads of really clunky cuts in it which made it awkward to follow. Real shame if they have had to cut back on the comms side as there is s...

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Yeah you’re allowed to question other clubs players, just not allowed to ask about your own 😂😉 you can ask what you like but if its "in Steve we trust" when it comes to team selection it should also be the same when it comes to the club not talking about injuries, so ... Hmm, I get it that...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

I love the bloke but he isn't versatile enough to fit in a squad rammed with with swing centres and a restricted salary cap. I hope he does well wherever he goes though, top class on and off the pitch.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Aled Walters and the Philosopher's Stone

When we signed Lancaster I was impressed as he’d put in some good shifts with Eng U20. But I’ll be honest every time I’ve seen him in a Tigers shirt he’s been poor. So can’t say I’m surprised we’re looking at other options. He's looked like a centre out of place as a fly half. Got the same vibe fro...
