Agree. Sounds like a sensible signing IMO.tigerburnie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 4:05 pm It's nice to have options rather than looking for my boots in case I'm needed, depth, yoof and quality in key positions sounds like a plan to me, another thing that perhaps has been missing in recent times.

Re: The Nadolos
I recall him putting something out on Twitter to this effect - i believe it's NAD-OLO.
There's no N in his surname.
I'll try and find the tweet.

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?
Has anyone else stopped watching the other games? I watch the Leicester games but watching one sided matches is not entertainment in my eyes. I don't think this was the way to finish the season in hindsight. Same here, started off trying to watch nearly all the matches but my enthusiasm quickly fad...

Re: Referees
JP may have "requested" or asked to take the redundancy for all we know. Suspect that ALL the RFU refs were initially put at risk.
I think he's been on some podcasts not sure if he's revealed the full story or background?

Re: Provisional Premiership Return Date ?
Depending upon capacity, ST holders and games left at home (is there 3?), you may find that ST holders only be entitled to attend one match via a ballot. If you win, great, you get the opportunity to attend - then you drop out the ballot. If you lose then you go into the next ballot. Simples. I can'...

I had a look back through some of the signings made before McGinity joined thanks to the useful opening posts by RagingBull. Sadly, there were just too many unsuccessful signings brought in by the previous regime. Thankfully, McGinity is turning it around and his recruitment appears to be significa...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Episode 3 The revenge of the Contracts.
As others have pointed out, the players will be on the sort of contacts that can only be terminated by mutual consent (unless Tigers have a cast iron force majeure). The club is unlikely to want to be in court (lose one case, lose all). The other possibility is it has been quiet while severance dea...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Episode 3 The revenge of the Contracts.
Did I imagine it or was there talk of a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ between prem clubs not to sign each others players under contract negotiations as a result of Covid? I appreciate it isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on, but clubs seem to be holding to it? (At the moment). I believe so, yes. I read ...

Re: Manu Tuilagi
So If your bored with Manugate why look and comment - or maybe its a guilty pleasure? I'm intrigued to know if He's going , where he's going or if its a ploy. I'm just waiting for the Duff Duff moment. Its better than the soap opera the good Mrs Wellstiger watches. Maybe, maybe not. Just want it so...

Re: Manu Tuilagi
Rugby paper and Ben Youngs believes Manu is going. Good for Manu and his family and I wish him well. Who knows if he has been wise only time will tell. IF If he is moving for money then Japan or France? He must have taken into consideration his International career? If we are talking Testimonials -...
